  1. I wasn't at the match, so what good luck did Wolves have ?
  2. I'm 69 and voted remain. How does that suit your agenda ?
  3. Yes, that is correct, Wolves rode on Friday's up until 1980, 1981 was national league which was mainly sundays. We were closed in 1982 and 1983. Re-opened in 1984 and CVS used Monday's citing people now have 'other things to do on Fridays' . Personally, I loved Fridays, have a night out with the weekend still to come.
  4. I fully expect Ipswich to be the mix for the title (although you might need more from the reserves) and not my own team Wolves. Obviously, the pairs is a foregone concusion, so you can look forward to that. It was a an absolute pleasure to watch Doyle and Sayfutdinov last night, so kudos to Ipswich for bringing the latter back into the league. There, can we be friends now ?
  5. Well funnily enough the referee agreed with my 'biased' opinion. So was the referee 'biased' ?
  6. I have an opinion, sorry its different to your's but there you go. Surprisingly you might find that on a forum.................................
  7. Dont they use the track covers on the greyhound track anymore ?
  8. Perason must have watched 100's of rollers at Spoons with Gundersen.....................................
  9. I've watched it back a few times now, and have to disagree with you, it was just a good gate. So was Schleins in heat 11 which was pulled back.
  10. I think this will be a very tough match for Wolves. Doyle is a great rider around Monmore and hard to be beat. I ignore Emil's scores from long ago at Monmore, , they are irrelevant, a top rider. Heats 13 and 15 look daunting, and King also has been doing well. Ahead of the match I would take 46-44.
  11. Line ups from the Wolves site:- WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Scott Nicholls, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.PETERBOROUGH: Chris Harris, Hans Andersen, Richie Worrall, Benjamin Basso, Nick Morris, Ben Cook, Jordan Jenkins.
  12. Unfortunately I am of the pessimistic viewpoint. We have seen the struggles of Cradley to get a new track over decades. Whilst Wolverhampton Council may be sympathetic, I can't think of a site in Wolverhampton which would not raise objections from residents either relating to noise and/or traffic congestion. And they would be in their rights to do so.There are some houses near to Monmore Green, but I think there is a law which says you can't complain about a nuisance if it was already there and you move next to it. I wouldn't think that there are many residents locally who were there in 1928 !
  13. I live no more than a mile from the track and yesterday I was working from home. There was no rain at all in the day or evening. Foreasts eh ?
  14. The entrance fee is completely irrelevant, a 5 team league is totally unworkable.
  15. The chances of that happening are virtually nil, the nearby experience of Cradley tells us that.
  16. This could already be his season highlight. Expect him gone by June.
  17. One good meeting out of three. You do know he has a history of inconsistency ?
  18. Well Kasparzak most certainly was the key. I wouldn't expect that every week though.
  19. With this being Wolves first away match it is difficult to say how they will do. As a starting point I would be happy with the bonus point. Kasparzak holds the key. If his home performance is akin to his away performances then Stars could be in trouble.
  20. So have I, since his Ipswich days.
  21. You must be mistaken, you have imagined those results. Monmore Green is a fortress and nobody wins there.
