  1. I fully agree, but because BV have a crap number 1 they couldn't cash in on the Bees misfortune
  2. With a decent number 1 BV would have won. Have to feel sorry for Garrity. I think he scored a max last time ? Apart from Zagar and Cook, the BV team did quite well against a re vitalised Bomber, and a reborn Anderson. If the Bees can keep this team going, and sort out Garrity's bikes they could seriously challenge Poole
  3. I just wonder if this will be yet another BV rain-off ? Quite a drop of rain overnight west of Manchester
  4. I would like to think so, but someone in the BV management seems to be frightened of the man
  5. I have a feeling that the Lions may just swing this one. Zagar hates the place, Cook was great when he was in his "Gating" phase which now seems to have eluded him, Scotty is going through a poor patch (By his standards) so I think that BV may well struggle. Whatever happens, a safe meeting for all the riders.
  6. I still think it rather strange that here we have a rider from the commonwealth who has (As far as I am aware) no court appearances to his credit. Yet Ward has appeared in courts here, and in Australia. Also at this time we are deporting Ty as an "illegal" who was merely trying to earn a living, whilst we have hundreds of thousands of other "Illegals" who we can't or wont deport. I know that it is apples v oranges, but as I say, rather strange.
  7. I still think it's a pity that a guy ends up with the equivalent of a criminal record in such a case. It was a case of omission rather than commission which was the case with Darcy Ward. Perhaps TY should have had Lord Fraud in his corner ?
  8. What's this about Ty Proctor being deported ! According to the Wolverhampton Press, this has happened ? If they didn't deport Darcy Ward for his mis-demeanours one can only assume that Ty has committed murder ?
  9. I think the Robins must be feeling hard done by with this result, and rightly so. They didn't really deserve to lose this match, and BV didn't deserve to win it. It was just a series of misunderstandings, and schoolboy errors which turned the match on it head. I imagine that it was an enjoyable match to watch, and the punters must have enjoyed it
  10. Zagar owes the BV fans a max, but it will be a major victory if he can manage to win heat 1. Cookie is due another stinker, although it shouldn't happen at Kirky Lane. Max will put heart and soul into it, and should manage to do his bit. Josh should do quite well, so no worries there. I hope Captain Marvel doesn't have to pull the fat out of the BV fire yet again. Stevie should be able to keep his end up. I hope that Stef is not swamped. BV should get the win, but a lot depends on Batch and his fitness.
  11. I am no great fan of KK, but he was never as bad as Zagar, and I don't suppose KK was paid £3K without even trying
  12. It is bound to be a factor. Another is, why thrash my engine for an additional point
  13. If Richie is the replacement I can see it turning out something like 55- 37
  14. You obviously missed BVs non-performance last week against the Bees
  15. As I see it this match is really down to one rider, Bottler Bjerre. If he pulls his finger out it could make all the difference
  16. It seems to me all riders joining BV seem to regard it as a cushy, soft touch. We have had Harris, Anderson, PK, and several others who have joined BV and flopped. I agree that there certainly seems to be something wrong in the management set-up. I cannot imagine for one moment that the new stadium will change the situation.
  17. If this is the team that BV are planning to take to the new stadium next year I think they may as well stay at the dogtrack. Lets hope that BV can get a guest in for Zagar
  18. I think the Sky crews get a nosebleed anywhere north of Birmingham
  19. Sorry, but I have to say Bees by 4 points. I think their weak link will be kylmakorpi, but this will be balanced out by Garrity. Worrall will have to ride far better than he did for the Diamonds this week, to even get close to Garrity. Of course Jason will have to stay on his bike
  20. I don't think anyone will contradict you. The Aces, particularly Cookie have carried on exactly as they went through 2014.
  21. After 2 or 3 dismal showings for Belle Vue, I imagine that Cook is feeling the pressure, which goes some way towards explaining his frame of mind. Having said that, as someone has already said, he needs to grow up
