Krysztof Cegielski made an interesting point in his column on a Polish website. He says that too many younger riders today treat speedway with the same approach as do participants in 'extreme' sports. He says that riders in a professional sport should act more responsibly and consider their opponents more. As well as respecting him as the spokesperson for Polish riders, you have to listen when that opinion comes from an ex-rider in a wheelchair.

Irrespective of the winner we have really seen 3 hours of gate-and-go for the most part, haven't we? A couple of decent passes come to mind, but not much else in truth.
