  1. Wrong. Poole, BV and Swindon have built their teams without the need for squads. Coventry could possibly have done with a squad member for the young Pole, Lakeside seem to be building to double figures, KL need a number 1 (which is probably excluded from squads). Wolves have built a team of middle order riders and Leicester are auditioning for Dads Army (which is out at the cinema in the next few weeks).
  2. Is that what you do for Poole as well as sell the speedway comic?
  3. Always liked Seba when he rode for Swindon - was that about 10 years ago? Fantastic gater in his time but is he up for a watered down EL?
  4. Yes Rosco is. This article is more of a swipe at Buster than Rosco though.
  5. GRW123 - no need to get annoyed. People have different points of view and different recollections of events and as screamer said don't let it get under your skin. Regarding your comment about the draft, I think I was the most outspoken about it and that is the reason why my attendance at speedway has been 2 meetings in 2 seasons. I was a hardened supporter for over 20 years at Swindon (and more years prior to that at Glasgow) but sometimes enough is enough and I am waiting for better value for money before I return - which is likely to be never sadly! C'est la vie!
  6. And with a bit of luck they will be back to take the points away for the Rooobins!
  7. Unless the final signing is a cracker, I don't understand why they would change race night this year when there was no need to. As a result of the change, KL lost their top reserve and will struggle as a result. Seems mad unless the ace has still to be played! You wouldn't do well supporting Poole then
  8. Are we a bunch of kids because we disagree with you? This forum is about opinions and there is no need to throw a strop when someone disagrees with you - that makes you the kid! It seems 6 people and the OP don't remember you moaning when you had a decent team with the pick of FTRs but now when your team looks worse than Coventry's (and that takes some doing), you moan like hell saying you never said this and never said that. I was outspoken about the FTR from the start and I do remember the lack of sympathy with you spouting about growing your own youngsters - what goes around comes around
  9. With respect, Ashfield is in Possilpark - hardly the most salubrious part of Glasgow. I know I wouldn't want to live there!
  10. Coventry could be the most likely in that scenario with the riders they have currently signed - given his previous spell and his popularity.
  11. He didn't say which year - so July IS possible - just not 2016
  12. That's harsh with so many to choose from
  13. And your point is? Whether he likes Aus or not or retires there the fact is he is British! With his busy schedule, I can't blame him for not riding in the EL because it is a total farce!
  14. Have you been listening to Havvy - infamy! Infamy! They've all got it infamy!
  15. He's alright - he has British grandparents
  16. Actually I think you will find that the sceptics started before a wheel was turned! With regards your talented youngster and his return - all I can say is that he made little or no progress last year so I'm pleased too that he is back at Kings Lynn
  17. Well - its not as if they cant see the stadium in their back gardens - so they wont have much to complain about!!
  18. The picks have been done so it doesn't matter and as I said above it wouldn't be right if 1) he was made an FTR or 2) he was added to the list before the season starts! Like Howarth, he is too good to be considered an FTR.
  19. I think you'll find that I didn't ignore it!
  20. I didn't say it was right (and it clearly isn't), I was simply pointing out that a talented second string is already in the draft (albeit from the beginning). The trouble with the BSPA and rules is that they apply them to suit!
  21. It seems like a very respectful service. However, if Brandon is going to be bulldozed and houses built (if that is indeed what happens), does that mean that his ashes will need to be dug up again or were they just scattered on the startline?
