  1. Because they already had the 4 league points!
  2. I agree about the safety aspect but in the same conditions last year, it was alright for the meeting to continue when Bees were winning with no regard to rider safety!
  3. Because the Bees didn't want to race - so why would they need an inspection?
  4. Because Bees didn't want to go out and Poole had already won!
  5. Can't see how Poole are to blame. The match official said race, Poole were ready to race and Bees downed tools on the principle of rider safety. I do not think we have heard the last of this. Well done to Poole who were the better side on the night in the conditions.
  6. i can see that Bees are making a point but it doesn't show them in a good light - especially when it was alright for them last year at Swindon in similar conditions. Can't blame Poole this time!
  7. Have to agree - Garrity wiped them out - although probably down to track conditions Interesting that Bees are wanting to abandon when they are losing! It's a vendetta!
  8. Gate 2 is a handicap tonight in front of a very sparse looking crowd. Compare Coventry's stand to that of Poole's and it makes you wonder where the crowd are to support the league leaders!
  9. You've only beaten Lakeside away so it is hardly a major triumph - although the Swindon Select team didn't manage it!
  10. Well we would have if tonight's meeting wasn't called off so early! Given the weather forecast it will probably prove to be the right decision but if not we should get the 4 points by default
  11. Maybe it's about value for money and being entertained?
  12. As if replacing your no 1 with the aforementioned FTR isn't embarrassing enough?
  13. Final score doesn't look good for Wolves - especially when you look at Garrity's score. And against the league's bottom team!
  14. An FTR (from the Bees) replaces Wolves number 1 - Freddie "on the down slide" Lindgren. Oh dear! Looks like you were a bit over-confident there - as I previously intimated. Roll on Monday
  15. Not forgetting that the premier league isn't premier because it's the second league!
  16. Starman has an important decision to make every home meeting - do I put my paperbag over my right or left shoulder?
  17. And no announced price reduction either
  18. You are like a dog with a bone and just won't let it rest. As I have said several times, it doesn't matter where you are during the season or how long you have been there (or even away wins). It's about how many points you have at the end of the season - the top 4 going into the play-offs. PS - Swindon ARE better than Wolves
  19. Of course the Chapmans can't control the sun but that isn't the issue. Why is this just a recent problem? Why doesn't the official start time get changed? Why don't they put up a huge hoarding to block the worst of the sun? Answer - they don't give a flying fig for their customers - if they did they would take some action!
