  1. Maybe he has restarted the Monster Raving Loony party in place of Screaming Lord Sutch? Other parties are available blah, blah, blah ....
  2. Its a bit like Swindon vs ex Swindon with 4 ex Robins in the BV team. If Matej, Scott, Steve and Josh are in the mood then BV could just nick it but I am going for a 48-42 win for the Robins
  3. Predictable easy win for Poole. RR obviously weakened Wolves but another low score for one-track Feddie.
  4. It's a sad thing to say but this will be won at reserve I think. The bees reserves will counteract any advantage Swindon would have in the top 5 but matches aren't won or lost on paper. Hoping that Swindon take at least a point from this.
  5. Result was never in doubt although rain probably had some say but well done to the rampant Bees. Alarm bells must be ringing at Lakeside.
  6. That's more like it for the Stars - a good away win.. Bad luck Leicester
  7. Looks like Poole didn't turn up with that scoreline. Well done to Wolves.
  8. Let me think now - which team is he an asset of and which team did he ride for last year and the last month ? Of course, it's Poole - an EL team
  9. Really? I think Bees should win easily against a side that is currently struggling for a win at home (after tonking a Swindon Select side) and don't think they will do much around Brandon.
  10. Made me laugh when you said I had a Swindon bias. Take Wells and Howarth, they are about the same standard although, Wells has taken longer to get to this point in his career, Howarth has a slightly better average in both leagues yet you say Wells by a comfortable edge! Then looking at Killer and Lindgren and you say Lindgren with ease - a rider who is CLEARLY on the way down (what were his scores at Swindon and Lakeside this week?) against one of the currently most entertaining riders! And you say I'm biased!
  11. Ok - let's compare: Killer vs Lindgren - no brainer Killer every time although Lindgren needs replacing Howarth vs Wells - I would say 50/50. Ricky seems to have improved of late and Howarth making good progress Morris vs Musielak - Morris - he's on fire at present Zengota vs Karlsson - no brainer Karlsson Batchelor vs Thirsell - no brainer Batchelor Wright vs Blackbird - slight edge to Blackbird - although not at Blunsdon Rose vs Bates - no brainer Rose Swindon it is then
  12. Must be the team that's in decline then 10 points from 10 meetings suggests this. Not a difficult concept either
  13. Ginger didn't have an assessed average did he? Did he not get an average from his time at Swindon?
  14. Just pick a bit and then use it out of context His starting average for 2014 was 6.39 - that's a fact and the absolute bottom line is that second strings have easier rides last year and this so hardly showing as a rider on the up. BTW - I didn't say he was in decline. With regards to Danny King - I wouldn't have him (or Kennett) in any team I would put together. Show me where I have rubbished him - I said that when the pressure is on and he needs to deliver he doesn't - and there are plenty of examples to support this if you look through the history archives. I bet you had plenty to say about him around drillgate and now he is in your team - you jump to his defence. For the record, I wasn't one on his back after drillgate!
  15. You must be new. No cheapshot I'm afraid. Kennett started the 2014 season on a 6.39 average (which he attained the previous season while riding for Swindon). All records from Brummies season were expunged which should have meant that Eddie reverted back to his season starting average but instead came back on a converted PL value which was significantly less. So his average going up nearly 2 points is no surprise because that's what he should have started the season on IMHO! I know that average is correct because I had to endure watching him going out in heat 14 week in week out (supposedly a number 4's easiest ride - at the time) and fluffing it.
  16. Poor defence! We all know he was on the wrong average. It seems the BSPA were inconsistent with the ex Brummies. King 's was correct and Kennett's was clearly wrong (as for some reason they took his PL converted average rather than an attained EL one). Nothing truer than the phrase "cheats don't prosper" The only thing that surprised me was that he didn't go to Poole!
  17. A bit of the green eyed monster methinks! He has shown he would be a good addition to any team and a bonus having him as an FTR still.
  18. Really unlucky for the Hammers. What sane person would put Kennett in heat 15 (despite being the top scorer and only dropping a point) when the pressure is on and a result needed? He never delivers in those situations! Well done Bees - luck on your side tonight (and good scoring from King and Garrity)
