  1. This should be an easy home win since as several have already said, the team looks stronger than the standard 1-7. However, meetings are usually not won on paper but on the track so it will require everyone riding to their abilities. I will go for a 12 point home win.
  2. Not many riders will beat Iversen twice at home in a single meeting
  3. Probably because he rides for Edinburgh - on a FRIDAY night!
  4. The same thing happened the other week when Hansi was poor at Brandon and he has more than redeemed himself. Riders have off nights - no need to push the panic button just yet!
  5. Well done Bees! Are BV good on paper but not on track, are Bees just too good or was it just one of those nights for BV. I'm sure the Aces will bounce back!
  6. Commentators curse tonight for Bates - has looked pretty poor tonight. He's still learning though. Edit - Adams explained that he isn't very well!
  7. its official - speedway is dead (or should be) What a disaster!
  8. What you don't know - you make up! As you are aware, Swindon had a choice to make and Killer or Batch got the nod which is why Hans moved on or he would still be at Swindon - it was nothing to do with money or even down to Hans! I'm very surprised with the negative reaction on here against him as he would be the first name on any team that I would build. He has the odd howler (like any rider) but is generally a solid scoring number 1 and he has been very loyal to British Speedway and contributes well to the team off track too. Get behind him as there isn't a better option available!
  9. It seems that unless you like all things speedway then you are a miserable old sod or miserable arsed! It's good that some people thought there was an atmosphere but those that didn't aren't resorting to insults but offering reasons why they thought there was no atmosphere. I have always said that I look to be entertained for the money I pay and while it wasn't the worst meeting in the world I have seen much better. However, I felt there was no atmosphere and I was at the starting line too so we will just need to agree to differ and it will be a while before I consider parting with my cash for this mediocre entertainment again.
  10. It seems I wasn't the only one who thought there was no atmosphere. As for decent races, I guess I am just harder to please than you. I actually like that era in music but not at a sporting event in 2015!!!
  11. They confirmed Nicholls tonight - I didn't hear about the others
  12. I only went to this as was on holiday and it certainly didn't entertain me. Hans was good and EK was a different rider to the one we saw on TV last week but outside of those two, the riders were very inconsistent. Prior to the meeting, I'm sure they were playing 70's music (or very early 80's) and there was little or no atmosphere throughout the night. I have certainly lost my love of the sport and the tired presentation did nothing to rekindle my passion for the sport. Processional racing heat in heat out didn't help either!
  13. Coventry should win this and collect all points on offer
  14. When Bees signed JK, they became playoff certs along with Poole and KL. Well done on the win and this team could win the EL for what may be the last year at Brandon. Go Bees.
  15. So you only include fans in colours? I mean it's very stylish going about in bright blue anorak with a skull on it
  16. How do you know this - did you speak to everyone or are you going by the number of blue Wulfsport jackets? That hardly confirms there were more Poole fans than Swindon fans - I'd rather believe what Red Robin says anyway!
  17. Was never going to be on with the rain today - should have been called off long before now!
  18. Gentlemen's agreement probably. The same way that Josh was allowed to sign in the first place when the rules clearly state he isn't allowed except with the "express permission of the MC". And I fully expect Poole to re-declare again today so that they can still have Rory in the team. How many wrongs is that? The time has really come for the BSPA to have some integrity and stick to their rules and not allow clubs (one in particular) to continually manipulate them to their advantage!
  19. I got the impression that they knew that and were having a giraffe.
  20. I doubt tonight will be on unless it seriously brightens up and the wet stuff stops! You never know with the British weather though! If it is on, I would be interested in seeing if Rory lines up. Having re-declared they should not have a facility for Josh G!
