  1. I got the impression that they knew that and were having a giraffe.
  2. I doubt tonight will be on unless it seriously brightens up and the wet stuff stops! You never know with the British weather though! If it is on, I would be interested in seeing if Rory lines up. Having re-declared they should not have a facility for Josh G!
  3. Surely having re-declared, you can't revert back on the day of a meeting - that just wouldn't be right imho
  4. Not if the morning is rained off - according to the rules
  5. If the morning meeting is rained off and Josh doesn't get to ride then surely Rory won't be allowed to guest in the evening for a rider who hasn't ridden for the club - given that Poole have re-declared!
  6. Can't believe Swindon's luck that Poole are bringing in a track specialist. Unfortunately, I think this swings things in favour of Poole
  7. And the moon is made of cheese! No way would I have KL at 1
  8. Unluckily I also saw the meeting live!! I'm pretty sure we can all appreciate the speed they go at and how little time they have to make decisions and how hard they hit the deck etc because on TV you get a clear view of the action! What you don't get on TV is the smell or the atmosphere but it looked like there wasn't any atmosphere last night!
  9. What's ridiculous about it? Fans pay their money to be entertained and that is what riders are supposed to do. If they don't like it they should find another profession to ensure there are still fans left! With your last sentence I can only deduce that the riders didn't feel confident on the track last night because they didn't perform
  10. The best track in the country is the one that serves up exciting speedway week after week. I don't really care what the riders think - they are there to entertain on a strip that lets them do just that. Sadly, last night wasn't entertaining - it was a terrible meeting (Robert Lambert excepted who showed how far he has come in such a relatively short space of time - and he's only 16 - fantastic) and was not a good advert for speedway.
  11. Hope the weather is good for this and I'm planning to attend so looking for a Robins home win. I think it will be a hard fought meeting and think it will be 47-43.
  12. Kennett couldn't even beat the last choice draft rider to the EL
  13. BIt of a snore fest ! 5 vs 7 should be interesting but can only see KL pull away further
  14. Interesting to see the return of Nathan Greaves in place of Starke at Swindon. Glad he's riding for POOLE
  15. I was thinking the same - I can't see him in any PL or NL team (although I may have missed him as I was skim reading) - so can someone shed some light for me?
  16. I thought the gap would be bigger so credit to Wolves. I predict that not for the only time this season Sarj will outscore Garrity. Take a bow PK
  17. Very few teams come away from Lakeside with points - a bit like Eastbourne was! I don't see that changing much this season but got to applaud your optimism.
  18. And that is one of the reasons why people have issues with you and certain other Poole "fans" Learn to win and lose with grace !!
  19. Good scoring from Dak - looks like he is continuing where he left off last season
