  1. Interesting to see the return of Nathan Greaves in place of Starke at Swindon. Glad he's riding for POOLE
  2. I was thinking the same - I can't see him in any PL or NL team (although I may have missed him as I was skim reading) - so can someone shed some light for me?
  3. I thought the gap would be bigger so credit to Wolves. I predict that not for the only time this season Sarj will outscore Garrity. Take a bow PK
  4. Very few teams come away from Lakeside with points - a bit like Eastbourne was! I don't see that changing much this season but got to applaud your optimism.
  5. And that is one of the reasons why people have issues with you and certain other Poole "fans" Learn to win and lose with grace !!
  6. Good scoring from Dak - looks like he is continuing where he left off last season
  7. Show me the official records that say this - and not what you think should happen. The official records I've looked at have Poole at the top - and no asterisk!
  8. Crucially - it IS pointless because KL did not top the table no matter what you think should happen - and no asterisk beside Poole's name as being EL champions!
  9. That's alright then because you didn't. As a Swindon fan, can I just state I would be happy to win the league any way we can
  10. You are right - I have no argument - POOLE are champions. Your irony isn't lost on me
  11. Swindon should have been champs - it's only fair as POOLE didn't beat them in the playoffs - stick an asterisk next to POOLE as Swindon are the rightful winners
  12. What really is very simple is ... Poole ARE champions, no asterisk! Got it?
  13. I didn't disagree that KL finished top - what I said is that it didn't matter! There were 4 teams in the play-offs and you need to beat the teams you are up against and POOLE did that - fair and square (apart from hole gate) - they were the best team in the play-offs. As I have also said - it is done and dusted! The records show that POOLE are champions (with absolutely no asterisk beside their name - no matter how much you want it)
  14. As I've said before - so what? I don't think anyone disagrees that they have now finished top - when you remove Darcy's points but we all know you win nothing for finishing top and the play offs are not invalidated as they were contested without Darcy. Why do you keep insisting that they would have an asterisk next to their name? They won it fair and square.
  15. I don't think you get it - it changes nothing as far as 2014 is concerned. The play-offs were contested without said banned rider so it's gone. You can argue all you want that with KL having the pick things could have been different - but we will never know. You get it now?
  16. I can't believe you are getting sucked in on this. As the Disney song goes "Let it go, let it go.."
  17. A thread just to wind up the POOLE fans. 2014 season is finished with - there is nothing to be gained with ifs, buts and maybes. POOLE won the semis - without Ward and won the final - again without Ward and whatever anyone says, the record books show them as 2014 EL champions. Who cares who topped the league - it means absolutely nothing! Time to move along - nothing to see here!
  18. If this were any other sport then they probably wouldn't have people representing more than one team in different leagues. However, if they did it would be a no brainer that the top league always gets priority!
  19. They were uniformly graded and then Woffy decided to do some gardening (as all riders have done to an extent without the use of a spade). However, he broke no rules - if he had he would have been excluded. If the referee thought it was unfair the he could have asked for a track re-grading.. And now we have a stupid "no gardening" rule which further makes British speedway a joke and a laughing stock!
  20. Can't agree with you - Woffy did nothing wrong so what could the referee do?
