Its long overdue this thread being moved. I certainly won’t miss certain posters in this section- although they seem to be doing what they ridiculed Gavan for when Ipswich were in the second tier
-
I backed it up - and because you didn’t like the answer, you say they don’t count. Well they absolutely do - asked and answered QED
-
Well they do count because all 3 are examples of riders who improved after leaving Poole - which is what was asked for!
-
You asked for examples, I gave you 3 and then you move the goalposts.
-
So as I said - all 3 improved when they left Poole!! Which is what was being asked!!

Jason Doyle Adam Ellis Leigh Adams

In summary - all the teams that Chapman isn't involved with? Remember that titles are not won on paper - look at Ipswich last year.
-
Team completed with Adam Ellis - that’s a shock - NOT! Great signing
-
He is injury prone and until he sorts that out I would be wary of signing him.
-
Good signing in Jordan Stewart - only Adam Ellis to go

Anders Rowe announced

The surprise is... there is no surprise

I wasn’t having a discussion about what league is best - you raised that subject. One of my points was that I can’t see many Swindon supporters being interested and time will tell if my opinion is correct or not. BTW Swindon were in the second tier for several years after being relegated not so long ago - and I enjoyed the racing in that league. So I am not sitting in any ivory tower with tinted glasses
-
I can see the benefit for Poole, Eastbourne and Somerset supporters to see cheaper PL speedway but can’t see many Swindon supporters being interested IMHO.

Noooooooooo!

Ellis Perks - back on board for 2020

Fingers crossed Killer isn’t like the Chrzanowski signing a few years ago. On his day Killer is mustard but he has not had a good year
-
Lewis Kerr?
-
Good luck even getting one
-
Like Batch, I never saw that coming. Can’t see any team matching this top 3 but will be interesting to see the bottom end of the team. Welcome back Rasser - surely means no Alpen now?
-
Holder and Kurtz together? #tragictwins
-
How old are you?
-
But we don’t want that for the following year - as we would then have 4 riders with an 8+ average!
-
I think you are right. He is on a high average which isn’t good for team building. Whoever signs him is signing a trier though and it would be a shame if someone didn’t sign him up
-
Big mistake signing Batch - will leave a longer tail than previous seasons - although he fully deserves to be back on merit. Doyle and Batch will take too many points in the team average. Hope I am wrong but it means that Rosco has to find a few Mueslis and Rassers on low averages IMHO
