While I don’t condone his tweet, PhiltheAce is usually a good contributor to this forum - interesting that it was the troll who “stirred the pot” - but it was there for anyone to see if they felt that way inclined. Really sad to read about Rye House closing. Hope the can resolve their debts and be back again - as this sport can not afford to lose any clubs.

As you would expect for such a fantastic stadium, the costs are significantly higher than most/all other stadiums in the country so I don't think it shows poor management to be losing money. What they need to do is to find ways of getting more people there and other revenue streams.

Unless/until you hear anything official (from club sources) it’s best that everyone ignores all the rumours and speculation on here. Some people seem to enjoy starting rumours or passing on information that they were told in confidence (I know something you don’t brigade) - both are as bad as each other. We should all wait and see what happens and keep our fingers crossed that the situation can be resolved so that speedway at Rye House can continue this season

The OP was just pointing out that if Poole did it they would be classed ruthless and no fuss when others do it.
