  1. The medics will know if Hansi was knocked out or received ”just” a bang to the head - so everyone speculating should just wait to hear if he will be riding or not. They have done last minute rule changes in the past (usually involving Poole!) and it just taints the result IMHO - better to win or lose fairly within the rules. So the only way Lewis Kerr will ride for Peterborough is if MPT doesn’t! it’s all to play for and a difficult one to call (if you look at the league scores). I would like to see Dad’s Army win it just because most people wrote them off at the start of the season. If BV win, I won’t be disappointed though! Good luck to both teams and if the meeting is as good as at the NSS, I will be well happy.
  2. Congratulations to the Aces. Should be an interesting final
  3. A lovely tribute to Colin Pratt - brought a tear to my eyes. RIP
  4. After 3 years away, it will require a mammoth effort to get people interested in going again as they will have found other things to do on a Thursday evening. Plus the people in the new houses will have some justification in complaining about the noise!
  5. Panthers vs Aces final then (probably - barring any disasters)
  6. The track at Sheffield looked worse than Peterborough’s and they are still trying to get that on. The sky looked clear as well at Peterborough so didn’t look like there would be any rain for a good while - so you have to question why they didn’t try harder to get it on IMHO
  7. That may be true but they haven’t won anything yet - the league campaign is a qualifying competition - nothing more
  8. And Pete Adams already in that
  9. I used to think that but I like him and wouldn’t mind him being at Swindon if we had a team and anywhere to race
  10. Batch’s lowered average should balance out Adam Ellis’ increased average when they both return (hopefully)
  11. This is normal for Batch. He excels when there is a #1 in the team but when he has to step up - he seems to have a mental block. Keep the faith - he will come good and could be a trump card in the play offs.
  12. Social media seems to be getting (or is already) out of hand - whether this is as a direct result of the last 18 months and the numerous lockdowns people have had to live through or down to the fact that the general culture appears to now be one of “shock” comments to illicit arguments/fear which can only be described as feral behaviour (as witnessed by the backlash against the 3 England penalty takers who failed to score on Sunday and so called fans with the underperforming KL team and many more). It definitely needs sorting to turn this emerging culture back to “friendly banter” - which I’m sure was its original intention.
  13. I don’t think Crump has had enough matches to get a new average so if he is unable to ride, a replacement is allowed using his current GSA - assessed or otherwise. Nothing wrong there.
  14. He didn’t ride on Friday as it was rained off!
  15. Doubtful he was fit to ride and if he was he certainly wouldn’t have been fit to race!
  16. He may have been programmed to ride but he certainly wasn’t fit - you could see that quite easily in last week’s televised meeting.
  17. Yes he was - and he still wasn’t fully fit.
  18. Surely you are grasping at straws. He wasn’t fit in last week’s match and they can ill afford a number 1 who isn’t fully fit with the results they have been getting. It’s the right decision and gives Jason more time to recover.
  19. Reminds me of Adam Shields. It is difficult to admit that the “mojo” has gone when it has been your main income for many years IMHO.
  20. There’s a Haribo shortage?? Oh no!
