  1. Thanks to CVS in the Speedway Star we now know a bit more. The heat leader list has already been agreed by all 8 promotions & he doesn't know if it will be made public. The reserves will still be subject to a 2 round draft with tier 1 having 12 riders & the 4 unselected joining tier 2. They'll be signed on 60% of their PL average. All GSAs are going to be calculated every 4 matches rather than monthly.
  2. He did, he has, he's gone. Cue Professor Cox & the band...
  3. With Poole being the first team to start using the rules agreed last weekend, it's an ideal opportunity for the other 7 to vote completely differently come November 3rd.
  4. The Defunct Stock Car Track site has got it wrong. Len Silver bought the lease from Eddie Lesley and immediately gave Mark Eaton of Spedeworth notice to quit.
  5. It does seem as though the EDR rules are being tweaked every season just to deal with the class of 2014 without having a coherent long term plan for new rider progression in the future.
  6. There are one or two egos, although to be fair to the kids, some of it is parent led.
  7. Didn't, as he's had a change of heart since then and said he'll definitely be back at Rye House.
  8. Quite right, look at the brilliant job the experienced speedway personnel have just done to turn the decline of Speedway round for next season...
  9. Not sure what the opposite of a tug-of-war is but we've won it.
  10. Yep, could be right although they'll probably change their minds by November 3rd after they've had time to think about it.
  11. It will, heats 2 & 4 are going to be reserve races.
  12. Normal rules I would think. There'll be one less chance for a swap anyway as there are going to be 2 reserve races which is more of a worry about how that affects the rest of the format.
  13. Len Silver has been going public with stuff that he shouldn't have done all season.
  14. That's the end of this thread then....
  15. NT & Tasmania aren't eligible but WA is. They've now published Appendix 1, the eligibility list. Appendix 1 – Eligibility for endorsement FIM Speedway Grand Prix – All series competitors excluding reserves and wildcards Argentinian International Championships – Winner Australian Individual Championships – Top 4 New South Wales Championships – Top 4 Queensland Championships – Top 4 South Australia Championships – Top 4 Victoria State Championships – Top 4 Western Australia Championships – Top 4 Canadian Individual Championships – Winner New Zealand Individual Championships – Winner Russian Individual Championships – Top 4 South African National Championships – Winner Ukrainian Individual Championships – Winner United States Individual AMA Championships – Top 4
  16. He can still go on loan and remain under the supervision of his current sponsor or transfer to a team with a sponsorship licence.
  17. This is THE AGM but although they voted last year to bring it forward, it seems they forgot that their constitution only allows them to vote in November and didn't change that as I'm sure they could have at the time.
  18. It wasn't, the play off final was held on the same weekend as the AGM.
  19. No, he's talking about running as a separate class as an extension to the youth classes.
  20. That's the usual form, staff, blue badges & bikes inside the stadium.
  21. It turns out that he was talking about swept volume, the engines are 570cc.
  22. To show it's not all #Speedway spent a good couple of hours @BFI this arvo watching @TheManLeMans . A great movie about making a great movie
