I spoke to Unc. about Danny Kennedy a while ago I was telling him about the punch up thread .... he said he can remember riding against Danny one turn and he took him off, when they got back to the pits Uncle Ted was sat on his tool box (simmering ) Danny came into the pits and just carried on with his business. Well ... Unc. was really not happy with the fact that Danny just ignored the fact he had taken someone else out, (in those days it was nice to get an apology) in Uncs. words "Off came the steel shoe" he walked over to Danny and said Come on Danny that wasn't very fair what you did out there, we've all got to work tomorrow...... the rest as they say is history. Moral of the story .... Never sneer at Unc. you wont win
