Well I cannot wait for June now am getting all excited (sad huh Trees ) it's not just the meeting itself but seeing all the people again that I have met from previous years (yes Nevsy this means you!!!!) and also meeting up with new ones, the company at the hotel is hmmmmm entertaining at times we have an excellent crowd there after midnight its a case of the more the merrier as they stagger back from the pubs to start again, it's like being on holiday with all your mates and the main thing that we have in common is that we drink like fish all weekend LOVE speedway!!! Come on Trees you loved it last year no one will think any bad of you, if you come back again this year! (I will even save you a vodka shot but, you're not having me blue WKD! )

Of course this means you ..... my extended speedway family!!!! Couldn't think of another hotel I'd rather be although inside information at the moment is saying the Marriott has a few nice butts in there

Certainly is Trees, even you admitted you had a good time last year!!! We were told when we left our hotel the rooms this year would be £150.00 per night the room sleeps 4 split that up not so dear afterall, that's the joys of wanting a good hotel with good company, if you don't want to pay that price shop around the Premier hold their price I believe and so does the one across the road from ours, cheap and cheerful basic room if that's all you want. Almost everywhere in Cardiff the prices go up when there is an event on at the Stadium regardless of what it is, they are there to make money they have the monopoly if you want to stay you have to pay, or drive there and back same day .... never again for us my Dad fell asleep at the wheel on the way home once (could of wiped out three generations) and I said then no matter what the cost I was staying with my family at a hotel. I don't care what it costs I love it where we are. It's good company, excellent hotel, staff are the best in the area.

Sat on the bottom tier once absolutely hated it, yet my lad sat in my seats there last year with my "co star" Shane and had a wonderful time, give me 2nd or top tier anyday!

Interests me!! made me a few bucks last year after they all laughed when I said Bomber was going to win, well all except one other at our hotel If you watch it you can see the lines they favour and how the track cuts up, sounds silly but watching Bomber, Leigh Adams and Greg Hancock during practise last year at Cardiff Bomber rode the white line, Greg went slightly wider and Leigh was more in the middle of the bend as Leigh hit the first and second bends a rut was beginning to appear but he still rode there throughout practise. Bomber on the other hand tried a few different "areas" of the track but favoured the inside which gave a smoother ride. Greg also favoured the very inside. Result Bomber 1st Greg 2nd .... so yep if the chance arises I'll be there to watch and see where my money will be going again this year Probably more luck than judgement after press and practise where I put my money but heyho £50 @ 50/1 thank you very much!!!!

His spokesman is probably in the same place as yours speedyguy you gave the impression of having all the answers earlier in the thread through a source of your own, where is that source now? Knowing Steve Ribbons as I do, you DO seem to have rattled his cage just a tad here, he was one of the few that helped with the starting of getting things over to Spain (if you watched the programme "living in the Sun" you would of seen him in one of the lorries loading up and doing the offski.) AFAIK he doesn't live in Russells pocket although they do have contact, for some reason I really cannot see Steve contacted him after every post on here just because YOU want some answers, are you planning a trip to the track? is your holiday revolving around the track? or are you waiting to see a return for your hard earnt money that you have tied up in the track? Really??? although it's my "Local" team! and the fact that I've followed Edward Kennett and Lewis Bridger throughout their careers and Scott has always been a fav of mine, although not my top fav and if I'm going to watch any "live" speedway it will be at Eastbourne ..... so no it's not MY team but it's one I go to watch and one that I tipped for the League this year even before a wheel had turned, yet Monday night put a black cloud over that bet (temporary I hope). Now back to the GP's you hate the GP's, you are not shy on telling the world how bad you think BSI/IMG has been for speedway. If you have nothing nice to say about them Trees say nothing at all

After watching and listening to that shower of rubbishe on Monday, I'd rather watch a GP than a League meeting anyday if that's what they are going to come up with each week

Ok thanks will go and catch up with the fella tomorrow and see what else he can come up with, said it's a relative of his, funny really as worked with him for quite a while yet he's never mentioned it before and he knows I go to speedway and that my family are regulars as well, so I wonder why he never mentioned it before
