Might not be as simple as that Steve, a rider years ao gave up because he was just not getting the adrenelin rush he was getting when he started out he said when the rush has gone there is not point in carrying on. So he gave up turned his back on speedway for some 20 odd years and eventually went to a meeting in Cardiff for a GP never made him want to get back on a bike but now likes the sport as a spectator. Not saying this is whats happened with Rio but we all get fed up with our jobs from time to time.

I seem to remember a thread like this a while ago, did it not get quite nasty as one of our fellow forum members actually came out and told us they were gay and they got quite a bad response from some. Does it really matter if someone is gay it's up to them isn't it?

Thanks for that Iris but Dad works for CLAAS and wants a photo from last night so he can get it blown up for the office wall as a speedway fan he thinks it would look good for all to see.

Ok all you photographers out there I need a decent photo and I mean decent if possible please (weird request this one but what do you expect from me?) The tractors they used on the track last night were CLAAS if possible has anyone taken a photo of one of them at some point grading the track?

Yeah blame me with the thread for next June starting so early it'll be exhausted by Christmas anyway There are a few people that have a few rooms booked in hotels quite close to the stadium and will release them nearer the date, unfortunately CrazySue has kept her options opened and I think she's booked a room in every hotel going, depending on who is booking into where depends on which hotel she'll stay in A few of us are staying at the Lodge we have done now this will be the third year, it's a lovely hotel and the staff are very nice and friendly think the cost for next year has gone up to £150 per room per night but there are two double beds in the room so can sleep four. Give them a ring although they show fully booked on the internet last year they had spare rooms.
