Cardiff Gp Ticket For Sale
shazzybird replied to fiveone's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Addy are you turning ticket tout on us -
"We" at Canterbury affectionately knew him as a "flash git" and yep we told him to his face but that was Andy. Please or offend in the 80's he was a showman and dreaded his visits to Kingsmead as more often than not he would kick ass oh and never brought a round either
-
Oh Gutted
-
Hmmmmmm ok maybe I got taller
-
Stopped Iris for a couple of hours though didn't it VV would be interested if Andy is going to make a comeback so if you do find out can you post on here please, I grew up with Andy at Canterbury and it's nice to know what the lads are doing now.

Let's hope no mistaken identities happen this year then hey Rico Oh and I do believe it's your round Grim Reaper you're very quiet are you mingling again this year, it's a real shame people decided to find out who you were, I thought it was funny not knowing exactly who it was, I even blamed Jason Bunnyjump for being TGR as everywhere I went he was there.!!!!!!
-
Oh I think I'm going to throw up ............. VV try standing up there for the once the view is probably the best around the track.

He did what!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe Canterbury Dogs!!!!!!

British Gp Reserves Named
shazzybird replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Have you any more suggestions or is that the lot So basically what you are saying you are not an Ed Kennett fan, I for one am chuffed to bits that the lad is getting a chance at the GP (even if it is at Reserve!). There are plenty of Ed fans out there, like I'm sure there are a lot for the names you have suggested, personally I would like to have seen Mark Loram as a wild card (if fit), he's a favourite with most of the Brits, you only have to hear the noise everytime his name is mentioned or a picture of him is shown on the screen to know what people feel about him within Speedway. If Ed does get a ride whether he is 1st or last I'll cheer him on as will a few others no doubt. -
Hmmmmm nope you're not that lucky to lose me

At the end of the day Edward is not a wildcard he's a reserve! He rides in EL that means he rides against the "Big Boys" there so why not Cardiff? Good Luck Edward, enjoy the day and the experience, we'll take Dad to the pub and you can have Uncle Barney spanner for you Oops Just texted Uncle Barney to say how great it is and.................. oh dear he didn't know -

Gp Seating Question
shazzybird replied to Kylmo's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
19 of us had seats on the lower tier 2 years ago by the pit entrance/exit that was about the best bit, view wasn't very good at all mainly due to the nice Ipswich fan that had a Scott Nicholls banner who insited on holding it up during all Scotts' races when he was eliminated it was changed to a TRick banner! Best bit the Polish fans that we made friends with in the pub that afternoon who were sat on the lower tier a bit further along by the start we bumped into them a lot during the meeting because the view was better from the gangway behind the seats. 2nd Tier I've found to be the best view, yet really scary when you stand to cheer "Your" rider on, it's a long way down............especially when the seat folds up and you haven't realised -
Cliv Clav perhaps he gets a boost from being disliked. Not that, that is any excuse for him to be like it. When he is riding "cleanly" he's a very entertaining rider but without going over too much old ground here when he's "dirty" it puts a dampner on the meeting. Riding dirty and riding hard there is quite a difference between the two.

David Norris Cardiff Wild Card
shazzybird replied to Splatty's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Gem ......... With the aid of a couple of good m8s and a very generous Dad, things are looking up It was the thought of missing Bjorn Again that really sealed it, with no Markie at Cardiff this year it wasn't looking very appealing to me, having been to Cardiff since it has been held there was feeling a bit low on missing the meeting, the atmosphere and the friends old and new that I meet up with ............... didn't take much persuading did it I love going to Sittingbourne and if I can make it back there on the Sunday then I will be there, they know that Even if it is for the 2nd part of the meeting -
