If the tractors when grading had brought in some of the dirt from the fence the shiny line on bends 1/2 may not have shown for sometime each tractor took a different line (with different implements on each one) and the watering was on the outside where no one had been hmmmmmm maybe bit of a girlie opinion there but thats how I saw it.

My dad and I had this conversation on the way home this morning, all those years ago when Ivan Mauger was the best thing since sliced bread people inc. us would say "My god they'll never be a rider as good as him, well not in our lifetime anyway" and now we have Tony Rickardsson and others will be saying the same about him. The argument over who is better who is best who is the greatest has been spoken about so many times yet both riders are the best in the world both have different styles of riding yet share the same guts and determination it takes to be World Champion. TRick was out of this world yesterday to ride (hmmmmm can't say boards as times change ) the airfence and stay on!!!!!!! Even my Uncle apparently was riding the airbike up on the 3rd tier at that point.

I was gutted to miss the lads riding round, why did they not put them on during the interval they probably would of done more use on the track than the tractors did Well done to all the lads I hear that the practise on the friday was excellent and the youngsters really enjoyed themselves xx

Hmmm Sams bar was excellent for a meet as we all sat outside in the sun.................POW didn't enjoy it some were inside some were out at least at Sams you knew where the forum lot were.

Must admit enjoyed Sams Bar better than POW, at Sams bar everyone was together and took over outside big time at the POW everyone was here and there

I know Cardiff is a long way for a lot of people to travel but it's a great weekend away. I wouldn't mind keeping it there. Wembley is roughly 70-80 miles from home that means I can travel back same day ......... No thanks!!!

With Mr Loram not riding this year I must admit I was going to take a raincheck on Cardiff but......... Cardiff has to be the highlight of the British Speedway Calender, good friends, fantastic atmosphere and excellent entertainment.
