So we dont know which riders will be riding .... but we can take a good guess with it being at Coventry GB Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Lee Richardson, Simon Stead and Oliver Allen (think being at Brandon will force David Howe out sadly) Sweden Andreas Jonsson, Fredrik Lindgren, Jonas Davidsson, Peter Karlsson and Mikael Max ? Denmark Nicki Pedersen, Hans Andersen, Neils K Iversen, Bjarne Pedersen and Charlie Gjedde. Czech Republic Tomas Topinka, Adrian Rymel, Ales Dryml, Lukas Dryml and Michal Makovsky. -

Who's Going To Cardiff
T.N.T. replied to lady s's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I will be going whatever. Fly out to Tenerife a few days later, but keeping a few £'s spare for Cardiff where I hope to bump into a few names on here. Will make a change for 2 Wolves riders in the GP this year and hope David can get another shot at the Wild Card, but think Lee Richardson (or Edward Kennett) will get this years place. Would be interesting if they gave it to 17 year-old Tai Woffinden who would surely be the youngest rider to have ridden in a GP ..... wouldn't he ? -

I take it the teams stay the same. Think as you have 5 riders to select and a transfer window later in the season, any injuries should mean you get 0 points for that rider until he rides. Same with captains, they stay the same until the transfer window. -

T.N.T. replied to Steve Turner's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
As the first GP is next weekend .... Can we get this years competition going ? Its been sometime since Wolves have had a GP rider ..... this year we have two !!! -
Even if it was on averages, Oliver Allen should be ahead of Daniel King anyway. His average with bonus points is closer to seven a match and the reason he had so many bonus points was because he rode in a more powerful team. British Final - Last year it was a great meeting with riders trying to qualify for the next stage as well as trying to get the wild card for Cardiff. This year rider have had to be seeded through as there are qualifying rounds before the British Final. Why could the qualifiers for the BF have been in April and the final around May Day weekend.

I prefer the old 16 races with four in each team and a sub ready to ride. Add to that 4 nominated heats and it works well. Possibly the best final involving pairs would be easily done. While I like the idea of a 7 man team, it would need alot of work on it with qualifying rounds being done through the season with the finals being held in a week, sometime in October.
