  1. Berwick have a decent side this year, thats a fact... Redcar's frame work is similar to ours of previous years a lot of pressure on the three heat leaders, with little or no improvement in the engine room and reserve slots. Constructed on the cheap, Redcar unless swift changes are made will be down the drain with Plymouth, Newcastle will not show them any mercy today.. Richard Lawson is a class act though
  2. As I find myself out in the Irish Sea on a early Saturday morning, as we all do I found oneself scouring the internet.. Most people have probably read it, http://www.berwick-advertiser.co.uk/sport/berwick-bandits/ten-years-on-villar-is-still-overcoming-life-obstacles-1-3337784 while I can just about contain myself at the prospect of another Speedway campaign at the old age of 25. I was sat there mouth fully open for the 2 maybe 3 times I read the article, pretty much the same facial reaction when watching him race. He was a special talent on track well sadly I feel Speedway riders get forgotten about generally once there careers are over irrespective of Tony Rickardsson or Dean Felton, Got a lump in the throat that is for sure Back to the meeting tonight sadly I wont be in the Executive Terracing with my Prawn Sandwhich however I will be cheering the lads on from Speedway Updates and in depth reports from trusted sources like Emilali from his 5 Star Hotel Redcar I think are good oppisistion for us tonight the fact we have the team we have, inforces the fact that it should be more than a 46-44 home win. Okay studying the teams as I do I see us winning by about 18-20 points. Richard Lawson I feel will probably win 3 races minimum from the gate but other than that nothing what so ever to be fearful off. Hugh Skidmore has tended to be a thorn in our side in recent seasons. That being said our team is pretty solid this year with little splitting our Top 6 riders. Hopefully no more jobs for the boys Wethers apart who had a good season for us last year. I feel there is more to come from Bellego, yes he improved last year but still inconsistant Can Doolan cut it in 13 and 15? probably not but a 7.5 average would be a good effort Vissing definitely better than his average, Berwick maybe his little niche, maybe Vissing will be a Bandit for more than just 2014 Kus - Last chance saloon, Berwick used to be a place for riders to get there careers on back on track, he's got the ability If he doesn't take care of Graveson and Crang tomorrow we need to be worried. I don't envisage Steen Jensen struggling to fit back into rigours of British Speedway, he looks the part if he's on good gear he will make a fortune at reserve. Big home win tomorrow, set the benchmark for the season, we WILL NOT get a better chance with the current team or tomorrow's opponents
  3. we always get poor predictions because were usually crap, this year should be different
  4. I feel for the riders it's extra income in a meeting Richard would have scored well in and he probably would have knocked a few points in the EL too Redcar I would say are weakened, Lawson always scores well against us
  5. Both represent good value that being said Workington's racing is much more open with good racing, Berwick follows processional racing with riders spread about 20 meters in 7 or 8 races
  6. What a farce.... Too many riders missing meetings and the season hasn't even started Sure it will be worth it when we wiin the World Cup with Woffinden along with the likes of Morris Blackbird and Reade
  7. Alex was in hammarby's cover's i think.. pederson and edberg were guesting against gorzow
  8. Nowt wrong with the Berwick track, it's the personnel, we've had racing it Good to see Alex Edberg turning out for EL side Wlokinarz Czestochowa yesterday, he must be well linked His card read 0,0,0 =0
  9. Truncheons at the ready Berwick Speedway's Police Service are Armed and ready to deal with anyone who even dares stepping out of line
  10. they have replaced dyer with graveson... away win here
  11. Not the first ludicrous comment he's/she's made and it wont be the last.. moron
  12. Pratices are what they say Willy lawson looked good in practice I don't read anything into them
  13. craig cook steen Jensen Ritchie Hawkins kyle Howarth max Fricke lewis rose kale katajiisto
  14. Bellego and 3 paid 5 in Poland last week beating Jarek Hampel in Heat 3, not bad for a first race at Ostrow
  15. Finally the season is about to start Had a few conversations with the usual people about the usual matters Even a week before the start of the season. I am liking how Berwick are lining up Redcar on Thursday is certainly a winnable meeting which would give us some confidence before heading too harder meetings i.e Edinburgh and Glasgow. Redcar are not a team of gaters bar Lawson and Summers. Bellego steady improvement is a real possibility Wethers don't expect any huge improvement solid Vissing should improve simply because his home track should suit his riding ability, while Armadale should make him a good contributor on smaller tracks Doolan Wont be our No1 at the end of the season I don't think good man to have at 3 or 4 for 7-8 punktow Carr - Hopefully will hold his own, if not he wont be a big outgoing from reserve Kus - Should be a decent scorer at Berwick if irons out the inconsistancy, last chance saloon I feel Jensen - Will improve his average from the reserve berth if not, well it could only happen at Berwick What could possibly go wrong?
  16. He'd have scored about 8 anyway Kennet will be 9.5 man this season
  17. Decent move if points come available maybe Simota and Davies could both be used....
  18. He could have gone a long way but spent most of his time in EL on 4 ish point average for Swindon. Yes he was good at Workington to the point he said he was too good for the PL. He has done nothing but decline since 2007, stating facts here but hey he's probably a nice lad so that means he's a great rider.
