Which Pl Team Will Nick Morris Join In June?
Robinh88 replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Proctor was a woeful signing -
Bellego and 3 paid 5 in Poland last week beating Jarek Hampel in Heat 3, not bad for a first race at Ostrow

Finally the season is about to start Had a few conversations with the usual people about the usual matters Even a week before the start of the season. I am liking how Berwick are lining up Redcar on Thursday is certainly a winnable meeting which would give us some confidence before heading too harder meetings i.e Edinburgh and Glasgow. Redcar are not a team of gaters bar Lawson and Summers. Bellego steady improvement is a real possibility Wethers don't expect any huge improvement solid Vissing should improve simply because his home track should suit his riding ability, while Armadale should make him a good contributor on smaller tracks Doolan Wont be our No1 at the end of the season I don't think good man to have at 3 or 4 for 7-8 punktow Carr - Hopefully will hold his own, if not he wont be a big outgoing from reserve Kus - Should be a decent scorer at Berwick if irons out the inconsistancy, last chance saloon I feel Jensen - Will improve his average from the reserve berth if not, well it could only happen at Berwick What could possibly go wrong?

James Wright - Making A Comeback?
Robinh88 replied to skoobie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
He could have gone a long way but spent most of his time in EL on 4 ish point average for Swindon. Yes he was good at Workington to the point he said he was too good for the PL. He has done nothing but decline since 2007, stating facts here but hey he's probably a nice lad so that means he's a great rider. -
James Wright - Making A Comeback?

Most probably correct -
Crowds were not great when you won the league scoring 55 points most weeks and winning a lot of your away meetings. A lot of close home meetings this year and I don't see Glasgow doing all that much away from Ashfield similar to 2012 (in my opinion) Glasgow as has been said is a hard track to pass on especially if the person in front covers the main 2 passing points. Mid table

he wont score a lot of points - save outgoings?

i think you will be dissapointed

Best Pl Reserve Pairings

The Witches -
I'd like to state I have nothing against Plymouth infact I have been down 3x times, nice little set up I thought you guys got a good initial balance last year but Kling and Lemon flopped This year Barker will lead the line no two ways about it 9 point average Newman and Davies averages in my opinion will drop coming from Somerset Katajiisto may be a great coup depends which one you get, but while at reserve a Diamond Benko, Reade = mince Jensen like Davies is not a 2nd Heat Leader yet I may be wrong I'd like to see the Devils do well, but this team is under- strength in my opinion

lol
-
I await your best argument
-
So Plymouth have a good team? I await your thoughts
-
Poor team if Davies is included. I would imagine the Plymouth promotion know this
-
Not long now I make it 2 weeks Thursday when we take to the track It's been a short Winter (I think) but glad to see the Summer of Speedway is upon us once again
-
Glasgow in my opinion will be nearer the bottom than the top and will finish below Edinburgh Reasons because of this are Max Fricke and Craig Cook best PL rider
-
Good luck seb Touted as the next tony rickardsson back in 2003
-
good rider i liked him
-
you could say the same of tomsz gollob or jade mudgway especially winding it on up high on the suicide line
-
I don't, but that's just me
-
Rye will be tough to beat home and will pick up a win or two on the road Redcar will lose 4 or 5 at home and win at Plymouth...

There is not a hint of bottom 3 potential in Berwick's team. Strength in depth is the name of the game. This isn't a 3 man team everyone is capable of at least keeping their average. Doolan's may drop but that will equalled by the improvement by other members of the team (at the very least) I have been critical of Berwick's team-building in the past, no direction, shape or ever looking like challenging at the top of the table Anything less than Top 6 is a fail with the personnel we have. There is nothing in the PL to be scared off. Obviously team's will strengthen etc No scape goats 6 of our guys in there respective slots will score to there average if they don't, questions should be asked. Doolan may struggle at No1 Bellego He will improve it may be big improvement it may be a small incline but he will Wethers His average will stay the same ish, but usually wins the important Heat 12-14 Kus Will be a big scorer at home, what he does away depends on two things his scores at Berwick and most importantly his mindset Vissing Being at Edinburgh will have improved him as a rider while taken 0.5 off his average, expectations are lower at Berwick He was never going to be a favourite at Edinburgh but he may find a niche at Berwick Jensen Most Berwick fans probably know nothing about him. 6 point average for him from reserve (minimum). Hard to beat at home and should pick up 2 or 3 wins away from Berwick, more than capable of making the playoffs
