  1. Well lets see I think we have a few reasons why Richard Lawson would want to ride for Berwick Bandits... 1. He always scores well here 2. We have an air fence 3. We won the 4's and the TTT in the same season 4. World class riders have praised our track like Chris Harris 5. We are ambitious, it's only a matter of time before we have a season with no injuries, rotten away surfaces referees or dirty home riders boooo 6. It's a family atmosphere at Shiefield 7. We lack a leader of our troops I think Richard Lawson would fit those swashing team suits just a treat, by the way will we have a new design for the 2014 campaign?
  2. Hmmm not looking too good for Plymouth tbh
  3. Good move recruiting Barker again Davies and Newman good middle riders not sure hy benko has been signed Id imagine Gathercole and jensen will be there too
  4. Could it be Richard Lawson? He can gate, always gets double figures at Shielfield and not too shabby away from home?
  5. If we get Tully in the right position he will do a job. Hes a commited bloke who I think will want to prove a point like Ashworth did on leaving Owlerton. He wont miss matches either which is a big one and should be good for team spirit. That being said guys like Neimenen and Doolan could very much do a job for Berwick on similar averages Is he going to put a point on his average? No most probably not Will he entertain at home? Yes How will he do away from home? No worse than Complin and as Dick Barrie says only 10% of Berwick fans care what we do on our travels. Ryan Fishers signature wouldnt have any complaints from me. We do need someone to head the team someone who can get the Bandits fans pulses racing once again. Another season of tolerating Seb Alden and such like really doesnt inspire even the most hardcore of Berwick supporters. I would like to see 1. Ryan Fisher 2.David Bellego 3. Claus Vissing/Kevin Doolan 4. Matthew Wethers 5. Kozza Smith 6. Paul Starke 7. Adam Ellis
  6. Tully would be a good 3rd Heat leader, it will be good once we establish if we are going for top end strength or put a trump card in at 6 and maybe 7
  7. probably, hes local and doesn't ride abroad We should be renamed Edinburgh A
  8. Tbf Norbert is no Nicki Barrett but he wins the odd meeting he won one not long ago beat Jamrog two or three times who was incidently 2nd... Magosi on good kit would score a 7 point average on gating alone I only remember him passing Kesziak or maybe he didn't... Guys like Adrian Rymel and paticularly Michal Makovsky are difficult to find these days. We could do with there solid 7-8 point averages for the new campaign and beyond...
  9. I'd imagine Barker will be 2 Liga if any. Whetehr he will be used is another matter
  10. I think its the Sunday matches at Gasgow and Newcastle plus the fact that Poland have rain offs and pretty re run at any night of the week they choose. Add to that Poland will come first they don't mess about. Pretty sure the season or the one after where Jonasson was turning up when he fancied it, he was banned for a season for missing one Polish match for Stal Gorzow. Rymel was with Miskolc in 2008 and Krosno the year pervious I think when he was badly injured? not sure if Rymel did other season in Poland. The Krakow deal never quite happened I remember he and Pietraszko doing a few sporadic meetings for Eldarna in Sweden, never pulled up any trees though... Magosi still doing the buisness on foriegn shores, boy he can gate
  11. But maybe the alchahol helps numb the reality of how we are on track... lets be honest with all the reel Bandits fans who have joined the ranks in very recent seasons... half the stuff some come out with makes me think they are well and truely smashed
  12. Yeah but good booze and pies create revenue for the club..
  13. Berwick have bloody good facilities okay maybe going OTT with the Torun comment however I would say Berwick is one of the better stadium's as one to visit. I think your just out to cause a stir... or just bone Probably both
  14. Berwick are the Unibax Torun of Britain when it comes to off-track facilities
  15. Maybe what RR is saying is true if so that is dissapointing That being said Lyons showings from May onwards were brilliant hadnt he got injured at Ashfield he'd have finished with a 9 point average, you cant knock that
  16. Been a while since we signed an inspiring rider who delievered.....
  17. Berwick Speedway's most loyal fan... I'll have you know
  18. YEP I CAN SEE CRAIG COOK, BEING AT NEWCASTLE
  19. I think its very important we find somebody who can lead the team really make there mark on Heat One. With Bellego starting at 2 again that would present a great opportunity to open with a 5-1. Then the roar of the home crowd will inspire the lads to a unbeaten home campaign at the finest stadium in the North East
  20. I think Berwick would be an excellent track for Adam, travelling might be a snagging hazard Most other pl clubs will sense his scent though Does he play Crazy golf? if we get Alex he'll need a partner now that Robin is off to Stal Gorzow on a 3 year deal
