  1. I was just going to say that, I think him and Fisher got on
  2. It’s still very early in the Speedway season but results have made for some interesting viewing, are we in for the tightest PL season yet? Somerset and Edinburgh have set the standard as two of the PL front runners for the last good few years. Those two will most definitely be contending for the title. Scunthorpe have had a rotten start in terms of results and now injuries must be a promoter’s worst nightmare with the campaign only so very young. Rye House while having a great start got a real doing from Plymouth (of all sides). Redcar after two heavy defeats on the road, looking decent with Richard Lawson spearheading there attack I do think we are very much in the teething phase and in the next couple of weeks I think more consistant results will happen In the meantime it’s interesting viewing Bring on the Action
  3. Berwick look very similar to 2013 on closer viewing. No Number One, Aspegren has been replaced by Kus (very inconsistant) Steen could still be the difference maker for Berwick in 2014 that being said if not we are alarmingly similar to 2013 We are out of the Group. Don't think we will beat Glasgow away and we will be lucky to get 30 at Workington Our saving grace to Workington at home maybe that Grazjonek and Bach have never racked up consistantly decent scores at Berwick paticularly the latter. So we are focusing in effect on the PL. Season over by June in my opinion
  4. I felt Simota would be a decent signing, I remember Newport fans wanted him back in 2009 Didn't see this one coming fair play to Plymouth, Devils fans are due a good season
  5. Reports are that Steen Jensen was utter guff tonight? Only Berwick could sign a rider who beats Speedway legend Nicki Pederson U21 champ and probably future World Champ Patryk Dudek, MJJ and Linus Sundstrom - but gets 5-1'd by probably one of the worst riders around Berwick in Justin Sedgman. As Emilali Top 5 did well enough - Steen Jensen needs to do better otherwise we will not make the Top6 especially considering we will carry Liam Carr. So basically unless he pulls his finger out same craic as last year Big crowd for John though and the Monarchs will be back for the PL in big numbers Well done Monarchs... hopefully we learn our lessons... I wont hold my breath
  6. kennet will beat barker at least once i reckon away win here
  7. Matty may well top score but riders with a point to prove seem to add an extra dimension, same in football its the ex player that usually comes back to haunt his old team. Cook probably will go through the card but we could get the 3-3
  8. I'll be interested to see how Redcar do at Scunny tomorrow. Pretty sure most of the Recar team could all score points at EWR
  9. Didn't see that one coming, Redcar that good or Scunthorpe that bad?
  10. Close match, vissing to top score, monarchs to edge it
  11. Well while the dust has settled and we are not relocating to the EL anytime soon David Bellego was in action at the home of Speedway, no not Arlington but Ostrow, Yes Ostrow They raced Carbon Start Gniezno today Scoring a very creditable 7 punktow from starts well paid 8, only given 3 starts sadly Incidentally the meeting was one by the visitors 41-49 with Bjarne Pederson maxing out and Wadim Tarasienko finishing off with two wins.. great stuff
  12. Unless you a Shielfield ninja like Lee Complin or Jade the Blade you usually finish where you trap
  13. I think its feasible we've got a great fan base, the promotion have shown how to build a winning team especially after beating Redcar... But my question is if we lose at home to say Unibax Torun will it be a lack of home track advantage or will the boys need extra time to fine tune there bikes? I'm not a huge advocat of the EL, well I think its a piece of dung to be honest however the prospect of watching Peter Ljung ex Reading and Daniel Nermark former maximum man at Berwick certainly wets my appetite.
  14. fricke represents unibax torun today vs rivals bydgoszcz at No4 alongside Emil and Adrian
  15. Great score from Steve Worrall, can't see Fox staying long Edinburgh wont muck about Assuming Tabaka come back in or they get someone who can hold the No2 posistion Edinburgh look very strong, they know what they are doing at Armadale
  16. Berwick have a decent side this year, thats a fact... Redcar's frame work is similar to ours of previous years a lot of pressure on the three heat leaders, with little or no improvement in the engine room and reserve slots. Constructed on the cheap, Redcar unless swift changes are made will be down the drain with Plymouth, Newcastle will not show them any mercy today.. Richard Lawson is a class act though
