  1. No, I think it's getting to heat four and then having to come back again to show the re-staging, costs 5 figures
  2. I suspect the TV company have had something to say, last thing they'll want is a rain off
  3. Not sure why others predict a 10 point plus Ipswich win - but then I don't have a great record . Lambert and Harris should get 23 between them and Sheffield have the better reserves, should be good for 12 between them, which leaves holder, howarth & pickering to get 12 between them for a four point win.
  4. Looks like there may be a bit of light rain tomorrow night but I'll predict Ips 43 She 47.
  5. Think those reserves would get smashed, Joe T no thanks and Boughen is nowhere near Premiership, struggles to get a point in the championship.
  6. tomato tomayto - I'd rather have Ben.. Has been in the main body of the Peterborough team this year whereas Zach is at reserve.
  7. I think some of you are interpreting for your own agenda. The post simply said "so we won't be going to Glasgow tonight...Hmmm" with a thinking emoji and then a rain cloud. It could simply mean so when will we be going as it has to be done by the end of Sept - if you want to know what he meant, just ask him!
  8. He was my rider of the night at Foxhall and did well at Belle Vue as well - as long as you can see a rider is trying their best, that'll do for me.
  9. Absolutely and I'm sure others feel the same - "my Dad's bigger than your Dad" is really childish.
  10. He's ok if in front/there's no-one near him but will never try to pass anyone other than on the inside if they go too wide and if it gets close he shuts off. So to me that's a rider who's lost the nerve to win - riding not racing.
  11. The Witches just hung on then but it was close. Racing ok but not brilliant (except Ht 15) but the scoreline drama made it exciting. Now it's the Premiership select side standing in the way of the double, a much sterner test now they have Lambert on his 2019 average.
  12. That's right, and so should Belle Vue have done at Foxhall but they didn't.
  13. I know that but it doesn't change the fact that he's only beaten one rider of note, which was due to their awful start. Given the fact Ipswich have improved as an outfit recently, Rew and Riss in particular, I don't think he'd have score much more than the RR score.
  14. Disagree on that. Wright has never been that great at Foxhall - yes, he beat our reserves and Riss there this year, not many riders didn't! He had one victory over Emil when Emil made a shocking gate and was in last and took a while to get past Brennan. Ipswich are stronger now than they were earlier in the year. As always, meetings are not won on paper and I'm really looking forwards to see how tonight pans out.
  15. I watched the Phil Morris & CVS section and have been following the rest on here. I was surprised more was not made of the demographic - kids and Granddads, because 3G pitches or other 'leisure facilities' mentioned here and with Peterborough seem to cater for active participants, not spectators, young old and disabled.
  16. Ipswich won by 18 at Foxhall so no reason why the Aces can't do that tonight - don't think R/R will hamper them too much, their reserves perform well at home.
  17. King and Hume were poor at Oxford today, they will need to be better tomorrow for Ipswich to progress.
