  1. It looks like he took to the NSS track last year for Kent scoring 16 points
  2. No surprise that KK confirmed as no 1.
  3. Fact?? From the SGB Twitter Q&A this afternoon - User Actions Following SpeedwayGB‏@SpeedwayGB SpeedwayGB Retweeted Jez Lynch No it would be 3 - only those riders who have ridden in the league and failed to achieve a 3 - ie Josh Bailey will be 2.05 approx we think! SpeedwayGB added, @speedwayGB so a young NL rider like JPB or Jack Smith would come into #SGBChampionship on 2 point average if team spot available?
  4. He has a PL average so this will be used in both leagues (if he doubles up again). The conversion only comes in for those who rode EL only.
  5. Can understand the dilemna. I am an exiled Elite League supporter who visited Scunny a few times this season as only an hour away (and one of the best race tracks in the country) and was pretty impressed with Josh considering it was his first season at this level. May be worth keeping him as he now knows the tracks and nothing beats experience however from what I saw of Jack Smith........decisions, decisions
  6. No he would not. Someone asked this question on the SGB Twitter page and it was confirmed that only riders who have ridden PL and did not attain a 3pt average would be on a 2 - the specific question related to Jack Smith and JPB and the response was they would come on a 3pt average whereas the likes of Josh Bailey would 2.05
  7. Not according to this tweet User Actions Following SpeedwayGB‏@SpeedwayGB SpeedwayGB Retweeted Darren Moody They have all signed up to the rules! SpeedwayGB added, @SpeedwayGB is promotion and relegation compulsory? Clubs can't opt out etc? 8:42 AM - 3 Nov 2016
  8. Presume it is. The NL conference is usually separate (later) to the Premiership & Championship conference.
  9. The quote came from Todd Kurtz Todd Kurtz‏@TKR10 Can't wait for a fresh start next season. Hopefully my average fits nicely somewhere stable. Keen to see what 2017 brings to the table. ️
  10. Unofficial based on the wonderful Speedway Updates site - Belle Vue - 3H (inc 1 PO) & 2A (inc 1 PO) Coventry - 3H & 2A Kings Lynn - 1H & 3A Lakeside - 3H (inc 1 PO) & 1A (inc 1 PO) Leicester = 1H Poole - 3H (inc 1 PO) & 3A (inc 1 PO) Swindon - 2H & 3A Wolves - 4H (inc 1 PO & double header) & 4A (inc 1 PO) So Wolves shown the most and Leicester the least.
  11. Started looking as soon as I saw it come off on lap 3 - sad I know
  12. Nope. 10.32.1 states if a DD becomes inoperative during a race it will not result in a DQ
  13. Think you will find Belle Vue are the bookies favourites http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/speedway/british/speedway-elite-league/winner
  14. . 15.14.3 Nominations must be a “qualified” rider, determined as either: a) A Top 3 Points Scorer (counting the 4 x Programmed Rides only including Bonus Points) or if one of those Top 3 Point Scorers has already taken 7 Rides, then the 4 th highest Points Scorer becomes a “qualified” rider. (NB. No facility is available allowing another rider to be elevated to the qualified list if any of those Top 3 Points Scorers is unavailable due to being withdrawn or has no equipment) OR The Speedway Regulations 35 A rider in the top 3 of that Meeting’s Team by current MA (NB. a Team missing one of their Top 3 and using the RR Facility may use the 4 th highest rider by MA). If a rider is disqualified for an offence under Art 15.3 or a non-disqualified rider is unable to take part in a re-run (FN) then the place may be taken by a Reserve or another “qualified” rider The bit in bold applies here! Rule 15.3 is for starting offences.
