  1. Managed to find a link to the German ticket site GP Tickets Hope this helps. Edited as I notice that you have to register to use this ticket seller - no English translation either I am afraid.
  2. Thirded Can't wait for the end of season SGP & SWC box again. Keep up the good work.
  3. After the euphoria of the British GP and the quality racing served up Ole really has brought speedway crashing back down to earth again. No airfence, no passing (unless riders made the mistake of looking for non-existant grip on the outside and got passed up the inside on the one line available) and no way I want to see a meeting like that again.

  5. I too e-mailed Bill Bradshaw (always had a lot of respect for the guy since I first saw him on Sunday Supplement - talks sense) and had the following reply Scott, you are too kind. Seriously, it's nice to get such feedback from readers and I have been delighted to spearhead our recent coverage of speedway. The Grand Prix meeting at Cardiff produced wonderful sport, great racing and was a credit to all concerned. It was a privilege to be there and it was a great advert for speedway. All the best, Bill Bradshaw, Sports Editor. Daily Express
  6. I believe it was A Day In The Life Of or 24 Hours In The Life Of. Pretty good too
  7. Good to see that Bjarne has seen sense this year and is trying to qualify - even if he has been seeded into the semis by the Danish Federation.
  8. Pretty good guess! From the Bournemouth Echo website Australia boss Craig Boyce has confirmed their top five of Jason Crump, Chris Holder, Ryan Sullivan, Rory Schlein and Leigh Adams for next month's World Team Cup. Davey Watt is reserve
  9. I booked my tickets as soon as they went on sale to benefit from the price freeze (thankfully delivered on Saturday). It appears to me that there was no actual freeze as last year we had the voucher on the side of the ticket for a free programme and this year there is no such voucher. By my calculations purchasing the ticket early will actually cost me an extra fiver (or however much we will be fleeced for this year for a programme). Not such a great offer after all.
  10. But does anyone know if Chas and Dave are still playing. Still listed on their official website. Knowing BSI they'll bring in the famous tribute band Das and Chave! http://www.ukacts.com/asp/acts/index.asp?act=1043&cat=1[/url]
  11. Can I take it you are in the Mitte in Dusseldorf? Me and my mate are staying there, not so sure about the Japanese buffet breakfast though
  12. Nothing further to add to what has already been said. RIP Kenny - you will never be forgotten.
  13. Managed to get return to Dusseldorf with BA for £80. Booked hotel in Dusseldorf for 2 nights for £100 and £20 standing ticket, so my trip to the German GP is costing less than Cardiff!
  14. Could of sworn that I read somewhere that if a reserve replaces a rider then he must take the rest of the replaced riders outings. I think it was brought in just in case there were injuries or a rider out of form. Then again I may be completely wrong No I was right! http://www.fim.ch/EN/rules/Sportifs/ccp/20...TIONS%20Eng.pdf Check out rule 078.3.4 Team Composition - the FIM have kindly highlighted the reserve rulings
  15. Crumpy should be back next week - has been given a week off.
  16. Well at least we won't have to put up with Millard tonight as he is at the Plymouth v Preston game for Sky
  17. I can proydly say that I have paid to see Chas and Dave live - Bournemouth Pier Summer 2004 Guaranteed to get everyone singing like it or not. Legends!!!
  18. Staying in the Dusseldorf Mitte, close to station and flash your room keycard and you get free use of the local transport which (so I have been told) includes the train to Gelsenkirchen.
  19. Cardiff - Booked Gelsenkirchen - Booked (also without the missus!!)
  20. Count me in. I have just ordered the 2006 set and would love previous years.
  21. Especially Jagus!! Couldn't believe I got 25/1 for him on SkyBet this afternoon
