As always the usual suspects post a lot of cobblers on here just because Poole lost. In the grand scheme of things it's not that dramatic so feel free to enjoy your moment. Our playoff spot is pretty much in the bag now (unlike BV's) and I for one am not overly concerned about who we meet as over 2 legs I fancy us to beat whoever we face. When we click as a team, we're unbeatable (like last Weds) but when we don't we get beat. It's that simple. I have been pretty strong in my views about us not needing any changes and at home I still feel that's the case, it's our away form that concerns me - especially at the smaller tracks. And as for some of the names being posted on here...THJ but Pawlicki or Little Leon

Exactly what I saw. I was amazed Kyle got excluded, but was equally amazed that Charles Wright got up after hitting the air fence as hard and fast as he did!! Tough cookies these speedway riders and full respect to each and every one of 'em. p.s. Kyle got his own back in heat 12 As for the meeting itself, thoroughly enjoyable. Highlights for me were Noddy looking just like his old self, very fast all night and Magic was untouchable once again. And I'm sure all the Gomolski haters are eating some humble pie today too! Not quite sure why he was celebrating after pulling a third in heat 14 though... As for Darcy, he too looked fast but just wasn't as quick as our top two and Hans managed to pull things together for his last two rides. All in all a damn good nights racing with a huge crowd!

Nah, Darcy is Poole though and through However the AGM might change things I guess....

A quick shout out to all those Swindon fans claiming that Ward will ride for them in 2016...both Matt Ford and Darcy himself have issued a number of press releases clearly stating that Darcy will be a Pirate in 2016 and a for very long time to come - UNLESS Darcy ups his average to a ridiculous level (as stated by MF this week). Does anybody really think that will happen?

Speedway would NOT be better without riders like Darcy (what fool would suggest such a thing?), however it WOULD be better off without the off track antics of Darcy. Two completely different things.

I clearly said there will be no changes NOW, not, not at all. I followed it by saying I can't see MF making any changes until the playoffs when he may pull off a masterstroke. There is nothing contradictory about that and in fact it just reinforces the first statement. You are a troll...and plenty of other posters have stated as much on this thread and others. As for a PM...see the above sentence! Poole this season are doing fine and may well top the EL with the current 1-7. You want changes for changes sake and at the moment they're unnecessary. How will we be stronger when Davey becomes a heat leader again? He will drop more points and Holder (assuming he drops down) might score a few more thus cancelling each other out. Not sure that I agree with that but I can see where you're coming from, however I thinks it's just more about his return as posted previously. Darcy was the best rider on show last night by quite a distance and bearing in mind the lay off and quality of other riders (Magic, Holder etc.) this was quite a return!

Fair enough and that explains a lot. I don't know how any 'real' supporter can just change teams. Supporting an individual rider who may move around, absolutely, but changing teams is just ridiculous. As for Poole team changes, I genuinely think that Matt Ford won't make any until at least the play offs when one of his 'masterstrokes' could quite possibly materialise. However, the current 1-7 has got us up the top so credit where credits due.

You even manage to moan here too! Darcy Ward, arguably one of the best riders in the world has returned from suspension and made his UK home and TV debut, so of course SKY will big it up! What's the problem with that? If it was Messi or Hamilton or any other major star in their respective sport they would do exactly the same. Team GB hasn't had much of a future for quite a few years now...and things don't look like improving in the next few years either. Woofy is our only current rider good enough to compete, Bomber has been declining on the international stage for a couple of years and Robert Lambert is our only future prospect.
