Thanks From Middlo
beesboybert replied to Middlo's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Top man Middlo for taking the time out to come and post it on there. Wrap the boys up in cotton wool until Fridays practice now and go do us proud! -
Just hope he reverts to his usual form next time the Pirates are in town As i said in the other thread he really impressed me last night, after seeing how nervous he was in his interview and he seemed to be making his excuses early he really knuckled down and produced a very mature performance. Lets have more of the same on saturday Eddie!

World Cup At Coventry
beesboybert replied to Gemini's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I said the same about Jonas at the time of the heat. Apart from that he was very impressive though. Must've been on his Swedish league bikes. as For GB I was delighted to see Eddie do as well as he did, the boy looked like he was pooping his pants when interviewed before the meeting, but he knuckled down and did a very good job for his country, well done son! And as for Scotty - Captain fantastic! That ride against Hancock was brilliant, the way he chopped down on the last bend was excellent and it looks like the boy is back and hopefully proved some knockers wrong last night -

World Cup - Vojens Sat 14 July
beesboybert replied to Mad Mitch's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
A shockingly boring meeting. I even turned off to watch an episode of the simpsons, flicked back at the adverts to find that I hadn't missed a race, watched that heat then went back to the simpsons and turned back to the speedway at the end of that only to find i still hadn't had the fortune to miss any of the heats! -
Paul Scholes has taken my bet too

Whats wrong with you man, Daz is back on the sunday so there'll be you, him, Chivsy, Andy, tommy and then I'm sure you can drag some others in!

Second last year so got to be worth looking at, all depends on the odds. Scotty could be very tempting, was very impressive in 2005 (missed ladte year due to injury), only dropping one point from the first 5 qualifying rounds, before going out in the semis after a confuisong choice of gates

Hot peppers, right on wenceslas square, had a great time in there last year with Jenn, woody-the-bee, SCB, lora, nikkif and buzzybee amongst others

I'm looking to get a Slavia shirt whilst over there after our trip to see them last year, if we wear them together we should be safe!

Humble Pie Anyone ?
beesboybert replied to Chris-P's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I people hadn't have wanted him out at Coventry I doubt Bomber would be where he is today. During that period he really struggled and made a lot of changes in machinery and lifestyle, without these Bomber wouldn''t even have been in the G.P's let alone winning them. -
Humble Pie Anyone ?
beesboybert replied to Chris-P's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'll take a rather large slice of that pie, I genuinely expected Bomber to be outclassed and for it to have a knock on effect to his form for the Bees, but the boy just goes from strngth to strength. Keep it going Bomber! -
Gb Team Announced.
beesboybert replied to Chris's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Stead normally goes round Brandon well, but his form must be a bit of a doubt. Howe has had a good season, and in my opinion should be in the team, with Eddie at reserve especially after seeing them at brandon this year. But thats the team that Middlo has picked so lets stop all thw squablling and get behind the boys!!!! -
He just didnt seem as genuine as Crump did to me.

Prague Gp
beesboybert replied to pjplymouthdevil's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Went last year and am going again this year. Went to see Slavia Prague play football last year, and if there is a fixture on (not sure when the season starts) I would definately recommend a trip along, was great fun and only about £2 to get in -
I'm sure I could find plenty of meetings where Bjarne has been riding away from home and has been beaten by a second string (take Brandon this year for example) and why would a rider be happy if an exclusion goes aginst them, all the best riders do not take decisions against them lying down, why should they? At least Scotty has a bit of fire in his belly, unlike the dull, bland Bjarne
-
Ahh Bjarne Pedersen, is that the same Bjarne that was beaten in last years standings by the perrenial underacheiver Nicholls, despite riding one more round than Scotty? OR perhaps its the one thats below him in this years standings despite Scotty having a nightmare season so far? Safrican american. At the end of the day if you dont like Scotty (for whatever reason, although it would be interesting to know whether it purely is because he rides for Coventry, because I'm fairly certain that you would have loved him when he rode for Poole) then thats fair enough, but the constant tripe that you and other members come out with on here is ridiculous.
