  1. It didn't apply to all riders, riders with a higher average were allowed to ride in the CL it discriminated against riders that didn't ride in the CL last season. the old rule was applied to all riders in what is now the PL with an average over 6, so didn't discriminate against anyone
  2. It just fails on all three 1,.Make sense. 2. Fair. 3. Be applied equitably (same for everyone). the points limit doesn't fail on any
  3. Points limit is the same for all teams, all teams agreed to the points limit Nichols and Kennett were not treated the same as other eiders of equal or even better ability I don't see what there is to misunderstand about this
  4. or is that extra meetings that have no importance at all, in other words just put on to make the numbers up not having a dig at Sheffield its just the way speedway is at the moment
  5. Looking at the fixtures, because of holidays and free Thursdays I will not see any speedway in June, but if we do well again I will be able go in freezing October
  6. Graversen won us the league last year, if he is at reserve he would do OK
  7. i get BT sports for free on my broadband contract
  8. Surely they don't get beaten every time at such a neutral track?
  9. So if you have a team with Aussies in it you will have an advantage, so does that make it a neutral track?
  10. Have Redcar ever had a team capable of winning the league? Sheffield always seem to have home track advantage when they have a good team, it disappears when we don't I really don't understand this fact
  11. No such thing as a neutral track, unless there is a track where non the riders have ridden before. If Redcar was a neutral track then the opposition would have as much chance of winning as the home team How many times have Redcar lost 50% of their home meetings in a season, that is assuming that the teams are evenly matches of course
  12. And how many didn't go anywhere, or how many of the ones who went every week to Coventry went every week to another track? Far more fans will have been lost forever or hopefully only lost until Coventry return home, soon hopefully
  13. Don't agree, usually when a track closes the majority of its fans are lost, when Sheffield closed I stopped going altogether as did most of the Sheffield fans I knew at the time All less tracks with less meetings will mean is less fans
  14. Three good heat leaders who will at least maintain their averages all the other four can up their averages, quite a lot in the case of Shanes. Can see him and Kurtz swapping in the reserve base quite a lot Here's to another good season. and to retaining the league title
  15. think we are playing a waiting game, if Workington don't use him there is no need to buy him if they come back and say they will use him if we don't buy him then we will see what happens
  16. Think that signing means that Kyle will be the next signing If it goes to plan then should have a very competetive team once again.. Todd could even find himself at reserve at some stage if James Shanes performes as expected
  17. Didnt realise that, but why would Workington want an unhappy rider
  18. if Kyle doesn't want to ride for Workington he wont be, and if Workington try to stop him riding I think it could be classed as a restriction of trade, especially as Workington don't own him, in the way the no speedway clubs really own riders
  19. Howarth, Kurtz and Josh Bates back will give a very competitive team once again with most riders capable of upping their averages
  20. or they are waiting to give us a Christmas present
  21. Sorry about George, but hopefully he can a place nearer home if that's possible the team looks good again, Howarth and Kurtz to complete hopefully
  22. Good news, just needs more consistency and could be our ace in the pack for next season
  23. So we can have a TV deal or the contingency Why cant we have both?
