I'm reading it as two riders. You replace one rider that is one team change, you replace two riders that's two team changes.I'm pretty sure you won't be able to change the complete 7 twice in the transfer window.
-
I know things like this have gone on for years. But surely for a transfer to take place the injury has to be long term,ie over 6 weeks.Surely even the BSPA have thought of that.
-
Normally when a dubious sick note is produced the team involved are only using a guest or R/R as a replacement. For a transfer to take place i wouldn't think you would be able to produce a dubious sick note as this would have to be over a longer course of time i would expect.
-
I assumed it would be for individual clubs that when they have completed 6 matches they can make transfers, then when they have completed 18 they can't.

So a transfer window has been introduced. What's the thoughts of the speedway public.Early thoughts from me is i think it is a good idea. Taken from the BSPA website. BRITISH Speedway’s Premiership teams will have a transfer window to work to next season. Club bosses have voted in a proposal to restrict the opportunity to sign riders.Signings can now only be made, apart from proven injury, after 25 per cent of Premiership fixtures and before 75 per cent are complete. In addition, only two team changes are permitted during this time.British Speedway Chairman Rob Godfrey said: “This ruling now means clubs have to be particularly prudent when making signings and won’t just make changes for the sake of it.“The regulation comes into force for the 2020 season.”Godfrey has also confirmed fixture planning is well advanced.“The fixture planning is always complex because of stadium availability, clashes of dates with other countries, culminating in rider availability.“My information is we should almost be there now in terms of planning the Premiership and Championship, there are just a couple of sticking points which need to be addressed.”

In old money, yes. But as it is now we only topped the league we didn't win it
-
Jensen never rode at reserve, and Wright only had 3 matches at no1 afaik.
-
The dirt is scraped off for the stock cars,so they should be able to use a different type you would have thought.Might come down to cost?
-
Can we do another prediction when some teams have made their mid/end season changes in readiness for the play-offs
-
Don't agree with the statement concerning Lambert and Cook that they should average double figures without too many problems. There has been many better and experienced riders in this weaker league that haven't done that including Doyle,Iversen,Lindgren to name a few. When was the last rider to average 10pts?I am not picking just saying it is very hard to average double figures. I hope your right though,if those 2 average 10 or more Lynn will easily make the play-offs and hopefully win the league for the first time.
-
Never use to be.Back in the day so to speak everyone use to like coming to Lynn because there was always a chance of getting an away win.Only when it became really grippy did we get plenty of advantage as away riders couldn't cope and basically bottled it.By all accounts they are making it less grippy next season. Will this go against our home advantage?
-
I know Hartel has improved over the last few years, but he wasn't the rider i was hoping for.I will give him time though and hope he can prove myself and many others wrong.
-
And Jeppesen.
-
Don't think it will be Kvech, schooling comes first.Looking at the pictures he looks gangly, but he is on a push bike pulling a wheelie.Anyone recognise the forest or the dog
-
RIP Roman. Can only echo everyones comments on here. He was most certainly one of the Golden Greats in terms of Passion,Character and entertainment. Will be sadly missed.
-
Is it that rough over there that you can even pre book fights
-
No team will ever have a 1-7 full of decent riders. You will have some half decent and some not as good as that.Thats the way the team average dictates.Imo Kasper will be half decent. He done ok with Redcar and wasn't too bad away from the NA with Lynn.
-
I beg to differ.Cook finished the 2018 season on a 7.73 average. He joined Lynn on a 7.19,even allowing the 2.5 reduction doesn't bring it down to nowhere near that.
-
It worked for Cookie last season didn't it?Unless the rules have changed?

Had plenty of volunteers back then raking. You wouldn't get enough now to rake half a bend. -

But many people moan on here about grading. They say the racing was better back in the day when grading was done every race, albeit not by tractor. -
If bikes were identically prepared you shouldn't have handicap racing imo
-
First of all welcome back Cookie. On Kvech, I would like to see him come over but I don't think he will this season. But you never know.
-
I liked the look of Kvech when I see him in the u21s. He finished quite high against some good opposition too. I thought people wanted to see someone different. I know that he would give his all.
-
If we have signed Cook, can you name me a rider of a known standard and guaranteed to score points on about a 4.5 average. You won't find a great deal. And I'm not having a go it's a fact. I would rather them take a gamble on someone like Kvech.
