  1. I know Hartel has improved over the last few years, but he wasn't the rider i was hoping for.I will give him time though and hope he can prove myself and many others wrong.
  2. Don't think it will be Kvech, schooling comes first.Looking at the pictures he looks gangly, but he is on a push bike pulling a wheelie.Anyone recognise the forest or the dog
  3. RIP Roman. Can only echo everyones comments on here. He was most certainly one of the Golden Greats in terms of Passion,Character and entertainment. Will be sadly missed.
  4. Is it that rough over there that you can even pre book fights
  5. No team will ever have a 1-7 full of decent riders. You will have some half decent and some not as good as that.Thats the way the team average dictates.Imo Kasper will be half decent. He done ok with Redcar and wasn't too bad away from the NA with Lynn.
  6. I beg to differ.Cook finished the 2018 season on a 7.73 average. He joined Lynn on a 7.19,even allowing the 2.5 reduction doesn't bring it down to nowhere near that.
  7. It worked for Cookie last season didn't it?Unless the rules have changed?
  8. Had plenty of volunteers back then raking. You wouldn't get enough now to rake half a bend.
  9. But many people moan on here about grading. They say the racing was better back in the day when grading was done every race, albeit not by tractor.
  10. If bikes were identically prepared you shouldn't have handicap racing imo
  11. First of all welcome back Cookie. On Kvech, I would like to see him come over but I don't think he will this season. But you never know.
  12. I liked the look of Kvech when I see him in the u21s. He finished quite high against some good opposition too. I thought people wanted to see someone different. I know that he would give his all.
  13. If we have signed Cook, can you name me a rider of a known standard and guaranteed to score points on about a 4.5 average. You won't find a great deal. And I'm not having a go it's a fact. I would rather them take a gamble on someone like Kvech.
  14. I have put similar things on King's Lynn threads, mainly in response to people that keep harping on about "the good old days".I agree totally with you the racing was barely any different back then. It's really only things outside of speedway that has seen the gradual decline in speedway crowds.
  15. What would Lebedevs average be? Averaged under 4 when he rode for us.
  16. Give yourself a telling off Semion. That can't happen again, well not at the start of the season anyway.
  17. I don't think Riss was quick enough last season.Even looking at his winning times in the Championship he had some of the slowest. He has a lovely style and well turned out i just hope he can push on too. Personally i would have liked to have kept MPT and he was on a slightly lower average than Riss. This would have give us over 5pts for the last rider if indeed we did keep Cook. Who do you think could be a surprise no7 on a 4.93 or lower? Or will Lynn go say with someone like Harris on a 6,then someone on around a 6.5.All will be revealed no doubt after Christmas/New Year.
  18. Was hoping for Cook,as you know he would be a solid back up to Lambert. He would even push Lambert for the number 1 race jacket. If we went for Cook now it would only leave 4.93 for the last place.
  19. Correct,Riss it is.Was hoping for Cook to be honest.Unsure whether Riss can up his average to be honest,i hope he proves me wrong.
  20. Brilliant news, although not for me.Don't think i would be up for it after a 10hr flight back into Birmingham on the 8th.Talk about bad timing.May try and make the 9th though. Remember the WTC a few years ago, that was awesome, and i managed to get a pit pass that day
  21. Maybe, and hopefully it does.It does make having a season ticket more appealing. But i would have gone to away matches regardless. Will the season ticket only appeal to the ones that would have travelled anyway? Will it make more people travel away on a Monday or Thursday?
  22. How many tracks have many season ticket holders nowadays though?I bet most tracks have less than 50.
