  1. Is it good for British speedway? What if the top tier in Poland stick with only being able to ride in two leagues.Once Poland develop these riders they will be riding in the top league there ,then they won't be racing in England. That isn't good for British Speedway in my eyes.
  2. Just because most riders were over there, there was nothing stopping them from travelling here for the SON?
  3. That's a pretty poor excuse for them not to hold it in Manchester.
  4. Pretty sure they don't have to isolate anyway,as how would Bewley,Kemp and Palin be riding Wednesday in the British U21 Final up at Berwick. Lets be honest they moved it to Poland expecting to get a crowd in and it backfired on them.If they knew they couldn't have any fans in paying the admission price they would have kept it in Manchester. You could have got two decent nights of racing on a track that can take a fair bit of the wet stuff unlike the drivel served up to us yesterday.
  5. But they could have put it back an extra week
  6. Bbc can't get it right for this country let alone anywhere abroad.
  7. Have the Worrall's,Wright,Cook etc been asked and declined,we don't know.Maybe they are all in jobs now?Think you have to self quarantine on your return from Poland now so don't want to quarantine themselves.
  8. Can't Gorzow replace Kasprzak with Barry Briggs for the 2nd leg.
  9. You should never expect points from Kasprzak whether he was dropped or not.We all know what he is like.
  10. What i never seem to understand in speedway is when it's raining or the track is deep and grippy the so called better riders can't handle it.The so called lesser likes revel in it as shown tonight.Shouldn't the elite riders be able to ride any conditions and be better than the lesser likes any any track given to them.
  11. You would like to think the price would come down if they done it on a more regular basis. As a one-off event it wasn't a too bad a price. They can't charge that price for example if they were showing one every week imo.
  12. Different Frank Ebdon to what i remember.Didn't know how to keep a meeting flowing,he would be what fans want now he would get a meeting done and dusted in 75 minutes no problem.
  13. I would have been watching it but unfortunately work Thursday evenings.Good value i think for £10,no petrol cost, food etc and watch it from the comfort of your own home. You can even have a few beers knowing your not driving, although i am that evening for work
  14. Could have, but isn't it nice to see some racing instead of putting other riders in danger.
  15. Don't know if you have realised what is happening in the world at the moment, but that has impacted on how many people are allowed into stadiums at the moment.
  16. Blimey Steve,i'm shocked to hear this.So very, very sad to hear of Merv's passing. Remember some very good trips we went all went on where i got to know Merv.He certainly had a good sense of humour and loved his beer.Didn't he have a large collection of beer cans at some point? Going to miss saying hello to him at the first turn at Saddlebow Road. Heartfelt sympathies to his family at this time. R.I.P Merv
  17. Game over Steve, not until the fat lady sings Superb ride by Woofy there to team ride Fricke home.
  18. If you do go to speedway, look at your own question and use a bit of common sense to answer it.
  19. Your maths ain't the best is it,that's 8 years ago
  20. I agree really about the decision, but i wouldn't really go as far as saying Iversen binned it.If he wanted to bin it surely he would have just laid the bike down instead of risking injury from a fall like he had.
