  1. Who knows it might be not as bad as we think. We don't know how long he will be out for yet. After all it seemed he was contemplating riding tonight.I gather he done it in the SEC at the weekend, but he did have a couple of rides after his crash, unless he had a meeting yesterday and done it. If he is out for any length of time how about Iversen as a replacement.
  2. Wishing R.Lambert a speedy recovery from a fractured T4+T5 vertebrae. Unsure how long he will be out with this injury but has had to pull out of the British final tonight. Hope to see him back very soon.
  3. Well only one, unless you intend on using him when he is suppose to be riding for Wolves
  4. In the after meeting conference he said it was over prepared for this match,or that's what he seemed to say.Incidentally i thought this match was the best i have seen him ride the track. They handed the mic to MPT after and he said he liked a grippy track, but he has learnt and had to adapt to it. Peter Shroeck then said the track is clay based so is always going to be on the grippier side. One thing i don't get though is why do people say that riders can't race a grippy track. If MPT can adapt and learn then surely the better classed riders should be able to.The last few meetings MPT has made some great moves on the track.
  5. I can't believe that.Ty was absolutely loving it Thursday until his e/f.Cook also said a grippy track suits how Proctor rides.
  6. Couldn't agree more. She's passionate about the Stars and there is nothing wrong in that. The ones ridiculing her are the ones who can never see any positives whatever happens. Incidentally i agree with Trees and thought the crowd was quite good compared to many meetings
  7. Exactly, anyone in business will favour the part that makes them the most money. It's crazy to want to lose money.
  8. It was explained after the meeting why the track was really grippy last night. And Cook also answered why some riders can get on better with a grippy track than others. It seemed quite simple really but all the same must be hard.
  9. He certainly is,especially in place of Bates. If Lambert scores a point that would be more than Bates would score.Although i think Lambert may find it a bit harder scoring points against a Lynn rider than he would against opposing riders that he normally faced as a Lynn rider.
  10. I think most people realise it's about stock cars, even Trees. But she is dedicated to speedway and credit should go to her on that.If you had the business what would you do?If Stock cars earns you so much more surely you would look after that side as much as possible. Even if he produced the best ever racing strip at the speedway, how many more people would turn up?Probably a couple of hundred at best.Look at Belle Vue best track, well what ive been to anyway and they aren't pulling in the big crowds.
  11. I would think it would take at least a day to relay a new track.
  12. Jorgensen still resting his shoulder at present, wasn't fit enough to ride for Newcastle tonight.
  13. In Shovlars world Poole are always weakened when using guests or r/r and you know that. All other teams are strengthened when doing the same.I can't believe you can't see that. On this occasion Poole were weaker and so were Ipswich so probably the right result. Only the once in Lynn colours
  14. You know he comes out with the same stuff continually. You only have to look at his pre-match posts. As long as it suits Poole thats ok with SS.Like now it's ok to finish top as you get choice of teams,Poole conveniently top at the moment.Last year it didn't matter finishing top.He will always change his mind to which way best suits Poole.
  15. It's a case of the same old sh*t just a different day with what Shovlar comes out with.
  16. Nothing is ever won in July as you often bang on about
  17. I did mention on page 1 that i hope the track will be done properly this week.Did they turn up on Wednesday
  18. I didn't realise there was so many ex track curators that post on here
  19. We have replaced S.Lambert with Porsing,so there's one option
  20. I'm sure someone will come along to complain, there's always one. I'm very happy with the signing,on his day he is capable of double figures and beating anyone. He does have some duffers but hopefully with what DWP has said he is well prepared to get us into the play-offs.Although that will be very tough from now in our position. I feel that the Lynn management could have acted a bit earlier though,as soon as Nicol was injured they should have contacted Porsing or another maybe.Maybe they did and they couldn't come at that time.In our last 2 away meetings we would have got a couple of points had we got a no7 who only had to get a couple of points. Anyway welcome back Niklas nice to see you back at Lynn again.
