  1. Just out of interest, who was the last person to be banned for fisticuffs?
  2. I think they are.Ipswich just have enough in the bag i think. It's a good job they got the points early doors imo.
  3. Whilst R/R would have been so much better for Lynn tonight i think they done the right thing by Grajczonek and keeping him as a guest.Remember at the time he was guesting for Cook and we had to have a guest. He was maybe the only one who would do it.Cook got the call late last night he was clear to ride.So would that have been very fair to Grajczonek if after making preparations to ride tonight to let him down last minute. It's hard enough to seemingly get guests nowadays without p!$$ing the ones off that will.So hats off to the promotion and JG for turning up. Anyway on the match,i can't believe how easy that was.We should have been their for the taking tonight but Wolves never really turned up.Expected a bit more from Douglas to be honest.I wanted him at Lynn when we knew Lambert was going to be replaced, lost count of his falls.Masters and Morris were poor also.Only Schlein and Thorrsell can come out with some credit. For Lynn Porsing was poor. Was expecting a lot more from him when he signed on again for Lynn. Josh blew his engine in his first and that was game over for him,he was well behind after that.Credit to him for the after meeting meeting. And a generous round of applause he got. Kerr,Riss,Toft and Cookie all done their jobs and more. TJ an excellent paid Max,best i have seen him gate consistently. Overall the scoreline flattered Wolves, had it not been for the 4 E/Fs suffured by Lynn riders the scoreline would have been greater. Unfortunately with Swindon winning at Ipswich tonight it looks like a top 4 place is out of reach for both Lynn and Wolves.
  4. There's many more riders putting others at risk rather than Cook
  5. With a bit of luck, out of this appeal many more others will get their just desserts and not just the 3 riders.
  6. Yes these are the rules, and guess what,no team can or does this.
  7. We are pretty much strength in depth, but that wouldn't cover for your two top riders, like it wouldn't yours.
  8. He wouldn't if he scored what he did when guesting for Peterborough.
  9. You're right i don't know what i was thinking. So i will say he won't be no good to us Thursday as his team in Sweden are riding. That's likely to be the only Swedish clash though as they(Piraterna)look unlikely to get a play-off place. Denmark is normally a Wednesday isn't it.Maybe i got it in my head Denmark clashed with our race nights a bit,but that was last season.Old age and all that
  10. He always speaks well of the youngsters when i've heard him being interviewed,of which he should be applauded.A few don't like Cook because of some of his doings, but listening to him after and during many Lynn meetings i have grown to like him because of the many good things he has to say about the sport in general and about giving the youngsters a chance. And he will tell you straight also ie the real reason why young Jack Thomas took a break from the sport.
  11. I would go with Danny King for that one,the way he rode against us last week was brilliant. But then we could probably recall Kasper at number one and still beat Peterborough
  12. Your right, but on this occasion it seems we will need to have a guest.
  13. Wouldn't be no good to us Thursday. His team in Denmark are riding, unless they are kind to us and let him sign for us in place of Lambert short term maybe.Bjerre or Kurtz it has to be to guest for Cook imo. That's if they are available and willing of course.
  14. Yes he is,check the averages closely
  15. But they also have him at 5 when he is at 6,they also have KP at 4 when he should be at 7.
  16. Well where do we start.A must win match for Lynn in which they need Wolves to go away with nothing. Lambert injured,Cook suspended and seemingly riders don't always seem to want guest nowadays.Even with 3 teams not riding is there that many that could fill Lambert's or Cook's boots.Only Bjerre or Kurtz in my eyes for Cook would be the only option for me. What was always going to be a tough match is so much tougher now. With Lambert being out in the first place and now the news of Cook being suspended you have to fancy Wolves in this one. Can Lynn tempt Woffy in as temp replacement for Lambert
  17. That's totally irrelevant you know footballers can only play for one club.
  18. I'm sure the clubs will be allowed facilities, why shouldn't they
  19. You haven't seen the whole thing. There were punches thrown after quite a bit of goading from various people. All a throwback to some good old days.Seen rider punch ups, hammer throwing and plenty of other misdemeanors all adds to the atmosphere.Like last week the atmosphere livened up when Hawkins and a few went charging at Jorgensen.
  20. Why not,he's had him the team for the last so many years. He has one match in Poland after this weekend, and 3 or 4 in Sweden, although one of those are when we have Wolves next week. Not sure about Denmark though, their regular season ends next week but they have some kind of qualifying matches that include all teams i think and then it ends in a 4 team tournament. And just the GP's as far as i can see.So he may want a few extra meetings to prolong his season.Obviously it all depends on Lambert's situation
  21. Don't think he said anyone they should kiss his a$$ and creep as you insinuate. But as Mick said there are certain people who will criticize, always negative and take the piss out of Buster. No matter what Buster does in some peoples eyes he will always be wrong. There is only a select few mind.If Buster walked away and left £1,000,000 to clubs he would still be lambasted by the few for one reason or another.
