I will tell you,no Buster won't get 3 votes. And i'm sure Louis and Rathbone have their own voice. How have the other promoters been unsettled?
-
Do you honestly believe Buster gets 3 votes?

Agree everyone is entitled to their opinions. But you say you fail to see who's views are right or wrong. But then you go on about people living in a world with rose tinted glasses.Basically saying those who have something positive to say about speedway are wrong. Personally i would favour the opinions of Danny Connor to yours(this is no dig at you by the way) on one simple thing, and that is that he goes every week and sees what is happening.Just little changes have been made what you don't see but Danny has. I use to go also in the good old days as people put it,i believe it wasn't that much different. The only thing different now is we are older and we moan more,we can't put up with the cold as much,we need to be in bed earlier.Basically older people moan more I think the crowds were up last season,so must have done something right to encourage more people through the gates.Sure Brundle even said himself about the crowd levels being up.Maybe Monday nights,if it is happening next season will put the mockers on that,or maybe they will trial it to see what people think. Roll on the next signings, lets hope it's Nicki and Emil on 7pt averages

You pretty much say the same thing every season. The Theresa May thing is a bad example. The cabinet are her management team, and like in most things whether you like it or not she will let her fans/supporters know last, and she probably has about 5,000,000 such fans. The press and media etc will always know whats going on before the fans do that's there job.

Chris Holder would be inspirational on his low average

As am i Imo in regards to the post from Haza. The racing wasn't the best, but better than the previous season. Also i don't believe it was the best track in the country once.It was one of the best, but not the best.Yes rules were broken but surely this is where the SCB have to be stronger. The start times were adhered to pretty much last season which is a 19-45 start time.I agree maybe an earlier start time may encourage more families to attend, but there certainly seemed more children attending last season. All in all it was much better last season in all departments, but things can still improve. But as they say Rome wasn't built in a day. I see these improvements myself, not by hearsay
-
You amaze me Haza, you haven't been on the Lynn thread for what seems like an age. Then the SS lets the confirmed news that Lambert has re-signed a day early and boy you think it's all the clubs fault. Now your fingers must be aching with the amount of keyboard punching you are doing. You are like a dog with a bone and won't let it go.
-
Welcome back Robert.Thoroughly enjoyed watching him mature into a good rider over the last 5 years. Mentions in the EDP about regular Monday night racing. Many people weren't expecting that.
-
Trust you to rear up at this time.As P.Rising said the Star wasn't meant to be released until tomorrow.Hardly the clubs fault that this has happened is it.But then again in your book i suppose it is.

Bloody Royal Mail, they are nearly always late with deliveries, especially around Christmas
-
And you seem to write off every other team in the league,as you appear to say Poole will win it again
-
What is the matter with you.Why the the impatience in waiting for the announcements, you know Lynn will be riding next season.I bet you was one of those that use to peel corners off the Christmas presents as they lay under the tree, because you couldn't wait until Christmas day to see what you had got .You should realise there's more to life than waiting by the laptop waiting for the first signing for the new season. Enjoy the family, football,Television, beer,Christmas altogether actually. The signings will be announced in due course. It doesn't matter whether we are first or last to announce does it?Enjoy your Christmas don't let this spoil it. Merry Christmas to all

Did have a little giggle to myself when someone put that rumour on here. Some people don't half post some rubbish. Can't remember who started this particular one.
-
Totally agree with your post. You will get use to certain members on here constantly moaning about the sport.Webby has often quoted me in certain posts that he didn't like because it didn't agree with his.I'm nearly 50 now and been going for over 40 years, maybe i am to young to have an opinion also
-
Frederik Jakobsen rode for Poole. Nicolaj Busk Jakobsen rode for Rye
-
Well with the riders i can see that are left. How about this team, won't happen but it's nice to try a team i would put together with whats left. Lambert 8.90 Iversen 7.38 Thorrsell 7.25 Riss 6.08 Auty 4.60 Allen 4.56 Nielsen 3.58 42.35 Very good top 3,with a very good 2nd string in Riss. And i believe Allen will become a good 2nd string also leaving Auty and Nielsen at reserve for most of the season. That would be the best team i could come up with, with whats left. Not going to happen but it gives me something to do on a cold winters night.Lynn too loyal so i could see a few more from the 2018 team in.
-
True. But when signed NKI was over 1.5 points more than Lambert and was an established quality rider. So one would expect Lambert to be backing up NKI through the 2018 season, not to go by him by over 1.5 points.
-
Don't think NKI backed him up enough. We are talking a top class rider going from a 9.04 average to a 7.38 through the course of a season whether he done it in hts 13 and 15 or not.The other 3 rides he had counted too but he seemed to be woeful in those. If he turned up for his first 3 rides we could have used S.Lambert in hts 13 and 15 no problems Hopefully he signs,as he owes us big time imo.
-
Did Lambert have the back up last season?Surely last year it should have been Lambert backing up NKI.
-
They have,in recent times always named their team around Christmas time or early in the new year.No inconsideration at all.You say people don't give a damn about speedway at this time of year, yet there is still plenty of postings going on here.
-
I am pretty sure there is at least one different rider in that line-up.
-
Now there's a surprise J.Holder is the new number 1
-
Where an earth do you get your info from?
-
Agree totally.Personally i think Proctor will be the one to struggle to improve on his average.Think the rest can all improve a bit.Lambert may struggle as he achieved such a good average last season but you always need at least one big hitter. As i said in an earlier post though,we did only have one big hitter all last season. So we will need one of the others to step up for the big heats next season.Hopefully Riss will be that man.
-
I heard similar lynnboy.I would prefer a couple of big hitters myself. The way i will take heart from this if it is to be the case,is we only have to look back at the 2018 season. We only started with one big hitter then in Iversen, and only ended up with one in Lambert. We just need someone else to stand up and be counted for the vital big heats.
