  1. You really must take of those blue tinted glasses.Don't you see anything but Poole in the world of speedway. The reason i put who will Swindon pick is because they were already confirmed as finishing top of the league.
  2. I like that, been to many years since we've had a derby against our old fierce rivals.
  3. We got 39 points .Didn't expect to get anything from this one anyway,in fact the scoreline was closer than i thought it was going to be. At least now with Poole winning tonight i can fully support the Stars against Rye when they come visiting .
  4. You have got to hand to Gavan he knows his stuff.Well done you sussed what was likely to happen before the meeting, unlike a couple of the Poole fans. Well done Poole. Now for the nitty gritty, who will Swindon pick. Think they will go for Poole if they know Starke is going to be at reserve. And should be 2 big crowds being it is less than 100 miles apart.
  5. Would the same have applied to Klindt, you know the rider who was clearly unfit when riding for Poole according to you.So i am sure the same can apply to Hougaard too.You must remember some of the things you have wrote in the past.
  6. Hey,he only won his last ride last night beating Auty,Jonasson had an e/f.In his other ride he got points in he came a distant 2nd to Jorgensen, again beating Auty.So he only really beat a reserve last night apart from Jonasson's e/f
  7. The only way to tempt big name riders back is £££££s.Which is what our clubs don't have. Doyle still does override himself a bit.Like he did at Lynn a month or so ago.He nearly fenced Jorgensen but ended up burying himself in the fence. That was so close to what could have been a bad accident for Jorgensen.Maybe because Doyle was getting beat by a lesser rider he felt he had to override himself.
  8. Can't see anything other than a Rye win tbh.Reserves will be key and i think Rye's will be to strong.
  9. Suppose there was no guest adequate to replace Lambert, remember all PL sides are racing tonight.
  10. Totally agree, fixed race nights Monday and Thursday if that's what they agree on.And again i'm like you and want a home match every week.Fans get into a routine, once that is broken many don't bother. Do you reckon Doyle could trust himself if he could ride against himself I've noticed one common theme lately, the Aussies don't half whinge a lot.
  11. Thought Trees was there last night When was the last time you came to our dump as you call it?probably never,it takes a long while on your pushbike At least Buster owns his dump.
  12. That's a bit of a stupid comment. It don't make you more or less of a fan whether you post on here or not.Gavin probably posts more on your threads because he get a bit wound up by a couple of pains in the backsides.Like quite a few of us do,which ends up making us dislike Poole a bit more.
  13. Whilst i think Poole deserved to win tonight i think it should have been 3 pts and not 4.Why didn't Andersen get excluded in his first race i don't know.First he went out on the track when all 4 riders from the previous race were still on it.I don't know if that was a rule break but all the shouting from the pits made me think it was.If that wasn't a rule break and he was allowed on the track for his race while the others were on it,he then went back in the pits which is a rule break. So in that sense tonight i think Poole were lucky to get 4 pts and not 3. Noticed Shovlar saying it was a good meeting,I guess Poole must have won To be fair to Shovlar it was ok but we have had better this season. Lahti definitely the match winner for Poole, thats all you need is a big hitting reserve that could win you the Premier League play-offs.Would he be at reserve if that was the case.Because i think if Starke went to reserve that would be game over for Poole. Anyway onwards and upwards we still have a match at home to go now .Maybe two
  14. It did make me think. They agreed to stop at ht 10 last week before the 2nd meeting had started, nothing to do with a curfew.
  15. Is there a curfew, unsure on this remember a meeting a couple of years ago going on until about 11.30pm.
  16. There's been a preview on the BSPA site all day.
  17. I was just thinking along those same lines. That also depends if Huckenbeck is declared as R/R though.I was looking at possibly Tungate for Huckenbeck. If Huckenbeck is fit though it will have to be one of those mentioned i think to take Lambert's place, unless they go with R/R for him anyway.
  18. Oh,that rules that one out then.Batchelor returns maybe
  19. As i said earlier somewhere,i can only see S.Worrall being available. He may have stayed over from the Peterborough match last night and put on standby tonight then travel up tomorrow for the Belle Vue v Lynn match. That would all tie in nicely.
  20. I agree it should start at 7pm,but it won't seeing it is a 7.30pm start.
  21. Keep hearing about the mess in Sweden. What are the problems, solely down to money?
  22. The only one i can see who is possibly not riding tonight is S.Worrall, unless either Kennett or Holder from your team would step in.Which i'm sure they would as it could be your teams advantage.I'm sure Matt would make them if no one else was available.
  23. Lambert wants to do both meetings, who wouldn't double pay .But i suppose all will depend on how his knee reacts to the first meeting.Really should have a few weeks rest but with the season nearly finished i suppose he wants to earn before he can rest it for 6 months. As it maybe R/R for Huckenbeck tonight, why in the Championship can a team have a guest for their 2-5 but in the PL it has to be R/R?
