Wasn't thinking in my last reply on this.Surely a morale boost would be making your riders believe they are better than the opposition,not inferior to which Shovlar implies.

Of course,all the riders read what Shovlar writes don't they.

Maybe you will remember this bit of advice when you do one of your pre Poole meeting previews.You know the ones where you are always up against it,even when the Poole riders are in good form.You are pretty well known for this.

I think a team done that a few years ago,i wonder who that was .And that was with them missing fewer riders.

There will always be "Ah but" situations.What if Lynn had 3 riders injured in the first 2 races of a normal match,what then.We would still have to ride on with 3 riders possibly.Wednesday night was just an unlucky night with injuries i suppose.It's a sport where riders often get injured it's just Lynn's all came at once. Also the only other team that could possibly have come that night would have been Poole.Would they have been willing to come that night,possibly not as they have been down to ride at Lynn next week for quite some time and i suppose wouldn't want to alter all of their plans. The only solution to all of this is to get matches rode more regularly rather than p**sing about with months of only 1 or 2 matches.Then you wouldn't have the need for double headers at the end of the season.

What rubbish,no team in the UK can afford to go to matches with a squad of ten riders,which would have been needed Wednesday. I find the overrated riders are the ones who can't pass another rider while racing.I would rather watch a Lambert,Harris racing from the back than say a Hancock just leading from the front.The best sight in speedway is seeing someone busting a gut to try and pass another rider.

Why?Rye still have Lynn away.Rye are 5 pts behind Poole with 2 home matches in hand.If they win both of those they will be a point ahead and all to ride for.It could get quite interesting for 4th spot.

I would like to scrap the R/R altogether,but a present it is hard to find guests to fill in for injured/missing riders.

What was that half way on everything money/running of the club/riders etc.

Alternatively is there a rule that says you can?Common sense should prevail and every body knows you can't start a match with 3 or 4 riders.5 you could get away with as long as you had your 2 reserves.

And this is what the fans want.Although you see so many fickle fans on here wanting entertainment,which Lambert produces and then they moan about him in the next breath for not going onto the next level.You either want to see entertainment on the track or you want them to gate and go and clear off in the distance.You can't have both.

I would rather watch a Lambert race than some of the so called stars.As you put in your last sentence"Mr Entertainment" isn't that what it's all about.I would much rather watch 7 racers than 7 riders.

It wasn't just his handlebar grip he had problems with last night,he had numerous problems most of the night.

That was a few years ago now though,riders don't even simply want to guest now let alone turn up just in case. Agree,what happened to "in the best interests" Can't believe some people moaning about the track last night.As DWP said it was fine,to me i was expecting it to be a bit grippier.It wasn't deep or dangerous.If it was we would have seen some comments from another certain Aussie on social media.

Is there really any riders who would come down just in case they are needed,personally nowadays i don't think so.Then you don't know which riders will get injured.So if for instance you did have D.King there as he only lives at Huntingdon and Jonasson gets injured,guess what he still couldn't replace him.It's not as easy as some people think to have riders there on standby.

I'm on about TJ not THJ.

Depending on the league structure next season i would go TJ nailed on imo,Auty never gives up Kerr just to have a gater in the team.I will fill in the gaps when we know how the league set up will be.

Now that could be good.If Lynn still have injuries we could use a guest from Rye and then Poole.And they would be sure to try their hardest to help Lynn beat the opposition what with Rye and Poole both gunning for 4th spot. But yet she was happy for both promotions to call a halt at heat 10.So she would allow them to make that decision but she wouldn't allow them to call the 2nd meeting off.

I'm afraid they were never interested in the scoreline when they were riding for Lynn,so why should they now.The only thing they were interested in were themselves. Can't believe so many people blame Buster about the situation tonight.He didn't mean to injure 3 riders.In fact i blame Barbara Horley for Porsing's injury as Howarth clearly jumped the start and then bend 3 he gets injured. Also so many people think we could have had a guest for MPT when clearly you can't. Seeing both promotions were happy to call the second meeting off they should have gone with that.Many supporters would have gone with that.So thanks again B.Horley for fu**ing that one up too.Isn't it about time they got rid of her.Maybe British speedway is short of refs as well as riders. Rant over,look forward to next week and those pesky Pirates.Hopefully we can dent their play-off chances .Or would it be better to see them annihilated in the play-offs Oh i forgot to add,thank god for J.Auty again tonight he's great to watch at times.If he was to gate consistently he would be a bloody points machine.

There were many Swindon fans slating a certain Aussie when he was in their team.Now i wonder who that was Think the last decent Aussies we had who just wanted to get on and race were Doolan,J-Lo and Jones(r.i.p).

Whilst i agree,he has been forced into the number 1 slot by the signings we made,instead of being able to progress gradually to the number 1 at his own pace.Maybe this could be what is needed to take his career further.
