  1. Buster did put a bit on the website about the double header and said they want the 6 points as they are now in a relegation battle. So i assume it's still on.
  2. But wasn't that the old PL.They are now up against the likes of Nicholls,Harris and KK.
  3. I'm on about Wednesday which is what the thread is about Riss or Newman would be alright if available.
  4. Would have thought so. Poole i would think. Who will be at no7 for Lynn?
  5. I'll be there.First and foremost i like to see my team win.But Thursday we can have a big say into who goes into the play-offs. Who would i like to see make the play-offs,out of the two i think i would have to plump for Rye.They were our arch enemies back in the old PL,but that's all forgotten about now. Poole,is who most fans who don't support Poole want to see lose and i'm in that category. It's not particularly any Poole rider i dislike or the club itself(only on the odd rule tinkering). The thing that makes me want to see them lose is a few of their fans that comment on here.I know that sounds ridiculous but i'm sure most people know who i'm on about.Although this season they aren't as cocky as usual for some reason So maybe two wins for Lynn, but Rye getting a point .Although personally i can see us losing both.
  6. J.Holder seems to like the track,if any 2 of our top 5 pull out he'd fit.
  7. Didn't really want another double header, but to be fair to both opposition we have to i suppose to get them in before the cut off date.At least if we get a couple of injuries in the first meeting(hope not)we won't have a shortage of offers from the Poole riders to fill in,average fitting of course.
  8. It always helps when Poole are losing too.It does to me anyway
  9. Don't know whether Holder is really over riding, just think that's his style. When he just fell off i think he was just surprised by Nicholls excellent ride.
  10. Nicholls rolling back the years there, that was superb.
  11. Only 4 of them, although we would have had first dibs on Lambert.
  12. You would prefer it the other way around then .To be honest if Lynn were to have a chance of winning any of these meetings it would be in the first 10 heats anyway.
  13. Do they carry more than one set of handcuffs . But genuinely if they expect riders turn up with 3 or more bikes if they are guesting in a double header, then they won't get any guests at all.The only answer is no more double headers.
  14. How?Do you expect him to have 4 bikes there.Teams would never get guests in double headers if they had to bring 4 bikes,i don't know whether you know how many he has here.
  15. It would, but that is if someone was willing to lend. Jake Allen withdrawn now,Somerset down to 4 riders.
  16. That's answered everything there then.So that is just very unlucky on Somerset.
  17. Why couldn't Somerset then have asked Bates or Riss instead. Edit MattK beat me to it.
  18. There was no official announcement why it was abandoned after 10 heats, but it was agreed before the 2nd meeting started that they would call it after 10.
  19. No one team or fans can do anything about the amount of injuries neither.
  20. How come this meeting is £12 for adults. When i started a Lynn v Somerset match live on BT i got jumped on by a few posters. All i said was this is what we have been wanting a £10 meeting which i thought was a good gesture from Lynn. Then all i got from the usual suspects is it's not a good gesture all BT matches are £10,it's part of the agreement.Well this have proved those posters wrong . Still a good gesture from Rye though to reduce admission and i hope the place is packed out tonight
  21. According to another poster they didn't have any option.Ford said it was the only date he could offer before the cut off date.
  22. If Belle Vue get anything from this it will be a truly remarkable feat.As 2 of their riders must be shattered from overnight travelling.
  23. I think the 2nd meeting should have been called off.It done more damage to the sport running it than calling it off. When the riders and promotions were willing to call it off that says something to me.Plus the fans would have been happy to see it called off all we want to see is a more competetive match. You citing riders and fans were in the stadium having paid their money. What happens when the same has occured and then it rains, match is called off and you get you money back,it's that simple. Only one person it seems was truly happy for it to carry on.Maybe this why they decided before the 2nd meeting just to go to ht 10.
