Why?At least those ones there today want to ride.
-
Yes he does.
-
There's normally about a week between riding the required amount of matches and then attaining the new average.
-
Maybe you should ask Ford this, because he assumed Poole would sign him on a 5.5 for next season.
-
Ok,Holders made a mistake.Like Trees said time to move on get him back to where we know he should be and make the play-offs.Before anyone wants to slate me again, some of the older generation on here who is slating Holder need cast their minds back. How many chances did Lee get,and i bet he wouldn't have got half the flak Holder has got.Lee was a law unto himself but people but up with it because he was so good.Shouldn't make any difference though. How many wanted Lee out of the team back then? and he probably pissed Lynn about 10 times worse than Holder.
-
I must be reading this differently, but KK wasn't in their declared 1-7 last season.I thought this would stand against riders like Holder who was in the 1-7(unsure)

King's Lynn Vs Wolverhampton 26/7/2017

I was merely trying to point out the fans wouldn't stay away if the team was successful,no matter what sort of meeting the track gave us.Because back then there were some very poor meetings because teams were beaten before they got there. So i think that part was relevant to people staying away. -
King's Lynn V Somerset 7/8/17(£10 Adults)
tellboy replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Bloody hell, wished i had never started this thread now.So much negativity on here is unbelievable. So what if it is part of the BT deal(not seen evidence of that yet though). It's still £10 so stop the bloody moaning. You have seen so many posters saying the sport is only a £10 sport, now people are moaning because it's meant to be part of the BT deal,so what, who cares any incentive is welcome is it not. -
Just thought i would get this one going very early i know. And before anyone jumps on my back i know we have a home meeting against Swindon before then. But i couldn't believe i have just seen on the BSPA site it's a tenner for adults, yes £10.This is what we have all been waiting for isn't it. C'mon Starlady, you can open those purse strings now and grace us with your attendance .
-
Well you will get your £10 speedway against Somerset on Monday 7th August
-
Surely if your re-declaring a side with Worrall in it,then you can't bring Kurtz back in.
-
That rumour has been going around for a few years now, especially at the start of the last couple of seasons.
-
I would say about 65% ride in both leagues.

I know what you said. And as i said nobody complained about the clay based material we used in the old PL.It did make the track tacky, this is what made it grippy.Maybe to much was used the other week.Of course i agree it becomes sticky/tacky i did say this after the SWC held at Lynn.I don't know whether you was trying to insult my intelligence by claiming it is a fact.Which of course i had pointed out before. -

At present i don't think it matters who is in charge, their on a hiding to nothing. The decline in British speedway is not solely down to one man i'm afraid. -

Thought we used clay based material for a number of years.Especially in the old PL days when we were successful.Didn't hear any complaints then.So using clay based material isn't a NO-NO as it's been proved in the past. -
Yes,we could have been 1pt ahead and 3 matches in hand(2 at home). All if's,but's and maybe's at the moment though.
-
We could have only gained 3pts.But as it was against Poole in 4th place,if we had won by more than 6 it would have been a 7pt swing.

Roads always dry out pretty quick.Tracks clay based is a different matter though. -
I'm not sticking up for Holder here. But as you are now saying you heard there were actually problems with the track, putting you in Holder's shoes would you want to do a job that is more dangerous than what it already is?It's a dangerous sport as it is,but if it is even more dangerous do you blame riders for making a stand.

Very Harsh. We have had a chat with DWP at Rye House earlier in the season. And he didn't know me or my missus from Adam but we still had a good chat.He most certainly isn't like what you mentioned in your post. That's the problem for some, they always go on peoples appearance, look, the way they walk etc and make judgements on that. -

Thought the fickle fans would be out today, and they are.Now some are insuating it should be off because of the rain.Obviously some people weren't up from 3.00am-6.00am last Wednesday, when Haza we probably had 500% more rain than we had today I thought there were alternate routes. We have often gone to Hunstanton and just drove back roads home, not knowing exactly where to go but just following our noses so to speak.
