  1. Are you guys down Poole way slipping, according to the BSPA averages he has done exactly 4H/4A
  2. Team average is 0.5 below the 42 points before last nights match. So i suppose you could re-declare the team with Tungate 5.09 for Porsing 4.75 if the rules allow. We haven't rode our 4th away match yet though.
  3. Hmm, don't think they are as good imo.Greaves rides for Wolves too.
  4. Still waiting to see you name a rider on 3.31 or less that you think will be lots better. Come on hair who do you think?
  5. Well if he was to make a comeback then, his average would fit.Didn't realise he had retired but his average is still on the list for 2017 team building.
  6. Who was you expecting to get on a 3.31 average or lower,Hancock,Woffy,Magic.I'm afraid only the likes of Lee Payne,Olly Greenwood and DanHalsey are available on that average.
  7. Looks like the rules have changed,or you have just mis-interpreted them by the looks of it.S.Lambert is in. Going on that,i would still prefer Tungate and possibly Starke for Porsing and Bailey. But having Lambert in is certainly an improvement on Bailey.
  8. So on that logic you can forget the replacements i said earlier in Tungate/Starke for Bailey/Porsing.How long before we get a team average now with Bailey quitting after 7 matches.Do we have to get his replacement to do 8 matches first now?Or will the BSPA grant the team an average when Holder and Huckenbeck complete theirs.
  9. Still got a bit of time before our next away meeting when Bailey,Holder and Huckenbeck will get their averages. But like you said we are going to need to replace 2 riders and at this time it has to be Porsing with Bailey.Incidentally when they do that last away match, don't the new averages not kick in for a week thus allowing you the extra 7 days to make changes on the old averages for those 3 riders? Tungate would be a good start in my eyes and maybe Starke.
  10. Just seen this on the BSPA website.Personally i think this rule stinks.Fair enough bringing Zengota for an injured KK,but surely as soon as KK is declared fit he should be back in the side. Maybe Poole are playing a clever game here and keeping KK's average high.So come near the end of July he still has a high average and maybe Poole could tempt a star name across for the last couple of months of the season.
  11. They had 3.31 to play with at the start of the season. Shame the bar wasn't showing the football tonight I could have a great night watching the speedway and football with a few 🍺
  12. I too feel Josh should be stepped down.Maybe after tomorrow they may think about it.Maybe i should have phrased the makeup of the team better. What i meant is people moan about wanting to know who is going to be riding in the 1-7 when they know who is going to be riding surely. Why shouldn't Harris be riding, this was only bought up by a member of this forum. So he is riding in Germany on Thursday, many riders ride in different countries the day after. If promotions had to answer for everything that crops up on this forum they wouldn't have time for anything else.
  13. Why do people moan about the make up of the team. You know pretty much it will be the same team that rode a couple of weeks ago. When a team change is likely i'm sure it would be announced in good time.I feel sorry for all those football fans that travel to see their teams and only get to know who's playing in the team less than an hour before kick-off
  14. Pub,football and speedway updates for me.With the disjointed fixture list the way it is,waiting another week isn't going to hurt.
  15. Good result for the Stars. But we still need some points from our no7.This can only be damaging for Bailey's progression in the sport. His confidence must be shattered and you would think stepping down would only help him progress. It's good being up against better riders but to be scoring nothing each meeting must be soul destroying.
  16. It's great to have memories like that, because they were indeed some great times. Those Dutch lads were tall, but then they were all tall to me.I do remember Mark being asleep most of the time during Sunday's racing,he was sat in the seats on the start/finish line wasn't he.Obviously well hung-over from the night before.Marky boy,i haven't heard that in quite some time.
  17. You were back then when we had a grippy track and a solid fence.Riders have nothing to fear now. It's amazing since being back in the top league the so called top riders don't want a grippy track. But back then the so called lesser riders could handle it,but amazingly the top ones can't
  18. Now that would be fun .Dads army revisited
  19. I can certainly remember that night club, bit scary really when you look back at it.Although we must have had a few by then so we may had been feeling a bit braver than we normally would have been. Brilliant times, enjoyed my weekend trips to Gronigen for the Assen Ice Speedway.Remember beer mat flipping once with M.Loram in Tramps bar,i think it was called(Rusky will know). Was the hotel called the Dohlen(another one for Rusky).Great times and memories from some great trips abroad all thanks to the organisation and driving of our old friend Rusky.
  20. Me too, remember in Champs one night how Nigel Leaver raised money for a blown engine
  21. You've got it Trees, although i weren't single for part of it.Mind the missus enjoyed her times to.
  22. Now i know you.And you are right, those were the good old days.Alchohol, speedway, trips abroad=lots of fun.I remember being locked out of a cabin on a ferry once too, wonder who that was .Remember that huge pizza you got in Hamburg. Was you in the lift in Sweden when it got stuck in between floors momentarily, remember Wild Wayne being in it.It's all flooding back now. You wouldn't believe the fun we had back in the 90's.
