  1. Will be attending for my third consecutive year.Thoroughly enjoyed my previous two.I like watching the solos and the speeds they get to,my missus loves watching the sidecars. Anybody know the line-ups?
  2. Well deserved points for Swindon.Poole to be honest didn't deserve anything out of it.If the ref was consistent he would have pulled the race back that Andersen jumped instead of just Doyle's and Tungate's. Buzz rightly excluded imo,he was behind, and as many people say the throttle works both ways.
  3. Simple answer would be no for many people.
  4. Out of those 4 i would say only Schlein and Batchelor are riding well below their capability.
  5. Good thinking, this has been going before. The Poole management are not always first to think of things you know
  6. Think Woofy is used to pressure. It doesn't matter where he rides he will score plenty.Wolves to get 56pts.
  7. The only thing i can see on their website is the re-arrangement dates.Bank holiday Monday v Poole,Sept 1st v Swindon and Sept 10th v Kings Lynn.
  8. I just think with cash you have no proof.Bet they didn't give you a receipt, whereas with the cc you do.Plus i would have the cc company/statement to back me up further.I gained as much evidence as i could, just make sure you do the same if asking for a refund.
  9. Thought all bikes were 500cc.Yes and young more inexperienced drivers have to pay through the nose.
  10. Seemed to work for me,unless i was just one of the lucky ones.I did pay by credit card too which acted as more proof i suppose. When i emailed them i did tell them of my intentions which may have made them think a bit. Thanks to Star Lady
  11. Lets not forget what the EL clubs have had from Sky.A £50,000 bond sounds more drastic than it seems, they may pay only about 1% of that. Why would the insurance be any dearer for each race.I thought as the riders in the PL are apparently inferior the insurance would be dearer.
  12. I would think stadium rents pretty similar, electric same, cost of food to buy same, most workers are volunteers afaik. All i can think in reality is the wages. You are known for thinking nothing of the PL and are so blinkered in favour of the EL.Whereas i have seen both sides and feel the PL is better value for our money(supporters).I have seen nothing in the EL to suggest otherwise. Now if we were to get back to the eighties then i would feel different. That was value for money in the top league, plus plenty of characters in the sport and lots of banter.
  13. I was simply basing my opinions on the racing side of things.Where the PL is definately not a rip off compared to EL. surely all costs are the same bar the riders wages?
  14. Yes but why would it be a rip off if the racing is the same if not better. The EL is overpriced don't you think?
  15. Quality of racing is similar,if not better than EL league racing imo.
  16. Can't believe they have paid some and not others.I feel i have been very lucky to get my refund now. i hope you and all the others that haven't received their refunds do so soon.
  17. Happy with Harris and Kerr also, didn't think of Harris as guest as thought he was struggling with an injury. But he never seems to turn any bookings down.Shame some EDR's don't do the same. Can't be there tomorrow as work gets in the way,but hope Bailey makes a good fist of his 1st EL outing.
  18. I heard that wasn't paid for,maybe why a few riders didn't turn up.
  19. Thought there had been 2 now,not 100% sure though.
  20. As far as i am aware he only has to be in a teams declaration, which i am assuming he is now in Wolves. I must admit of not seeing the rule you are quoting.I know a team wasn't allowed to get rid of a rider if declared in their side and having not ridden a match for them.
  21. Totally agree, just don't think R/R will get what Lambert would do.NKI and Batch maybe but Schlein has been pretty poor since being back and that would then leave the reserves inc Starke. Is Fricke fit now? How about the current World Champion.Woofy's average fits perfect as guest for Lambert
  22. I would go with Kerr and Starke as EDRs,and no doubt Nicholls may get a call.I would prefer Nicholls to R/R anyway.
  23. Thought King's Lynn came before Newcastle for those 2,or is it because it's a re-arranged fixture.
