I think to replace Lanham on a 7.50,Bjerre would have to be on a 7.50 or lower.Regardless of the overall team average.

Don't think Sky buggered up it was ok for me.If you noticed Sports 1 had it down from 4-6 and 6-7 like two seperate programmes. Anyway pretty good GP to start the season with Sayfutdinov and Lindback being my riders of the night. -
Well i am really looking forward to watching Darcy mixing it with the big boys again tonight. The boy is for sure great entertainment
-
I have 12 heats gone now

Congrats to AJ.Also a big well done to debut boy Darcy Ward.

After last years successful SWC event at King's lynn i was really looking forward to this one.But what a bloody fiasco it has turned out to be.I wish someone with a deep pocket could persuade Sayfutdinov to ride,if only to make the races he is involved in more competative for Russia, and for the fans. The way it is at the moment they should ban Russia from competing, and when Germany go out tonight invite them to have a second chance. At least we should get some battles between the front two and the last two. -

I agree i have to explain this to my mate who is coming for his first ever time(maybe the last ).I honestly thought there could be some very good racing with the Poles,GB and the full Russian team. And with this and the atmosphere i thought i may be able to entice him to come again. How do you get newcomers to our sport, when what is meant to be one of the highlights of the speedway calendar ant it could be sadly let down by this whole affair. I don't know about banning Laguta. though if he has been let down by visa problems it probably isn't his fault. -

Wrong,i didn't go on an assumption.I went by the official GP site.If you care to look it has all the teams listed. Russia as stated 1.Povazhny 2.A.Laguta 3.Sayfutdinov 4.Gafurov 5.G.Laguta -

I think when you spend your money and told what you are getting, you expect to get this.If these riders are not there we are not getting what we paid for. Its a bit like buying a sony tv and then at matsui one being delivered your not getting what you paid for. Also the embarassing bit for me is that i have eventually got someone from work to come(who's never been before)and told him the best riders from these countries will be there. What do i say if half of these riders don't turn up,oh that often happens in speedway mate. -

Well i hope all riders do make it.I have spent good money on seeing the best riders these countries can offer.I am also taking someone for the first time, and he is looking forward to seeing this top Russian ride.I been going on about Sayfutdinov to him for a while and if he isn't there it will make speedway look amateurish to him. -

I take it,it was Cameron Heeps i see racing around Lynn tonight after the main meeting. He had Heeps on his bike anyway. He looks a pretty good talent from what i see tonight,he was racing against some NL boys as well.I think he will be very good for Mildenhall especially at reserve.

It certainly looks that way Semion. What with the Stars and the BSPA making statements on the same day and the same time. I personally want us to stay PL basically because it is better value for money and you get to see different teams most weeks. But as a supporter of the Stars i would go along and watch them in the EL,because that is what supporters of teams do.
-
I am sure Lynn would never run under Peterboroughs name. And Peterborough don't have an issue with the rental of the Showground i don't think. They have a problem with some of the new rules to what i can gather.
-
I agree to that,we don't want to see the same teams 3 or 4 times a season. And we as supporters have to pay a higher price too
-
Could someone post on here what it says.I am not a member of facebook and i assume there are many others that are not either. I am disappointed if this is the case.We won't get the variety of teams as we did in the PL. There must have been one mighty big carrot dangled in front of Buster for him to do this.Or is he?
-
You can't blame Lasse if Peterborough have offered good money. If somebody offered me better money than what i'm on now i would be gone like a shot. And i disagree about the BSPA bit if it was the same rules for all teams this whole saga wouldn't even have been an issue. Peterborough have a few assets that haven't even rode for them yet.I am sure there are some sweeteners for there PL clubs they are loaned to somewhere down the line. With the Darcy situation did anybody actually give him an offer before his 12th match? With the way he was with the club at the end of season i am just glad he got past the 12th match,or else i am sure he would have done the same just to put one over the club.
-
I don't see why young Lasse seems to be coming in for all this stick.Surely any young rider with the class and ambition as he does will only use the Premier League as a stepping stone. Darcy Ward done this last year. The only problem i see is the BSPA not making him an asset of King's Lynn because he hasn't done 12 matches. It's the Bspa and their rules that need looking at not Lasse. And i may recall i thought Peterborough were interested in him at the start of the season(i may be wrong it was 8 months ago).I know they must have took a look at him when he rode in the first challenge meeting at the showground.

Kings Lynn 2011 World Cup
tellboy replied to horse17's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Excellent news that Kings Lynn has got this event again. It was an outstanding success this year. Just checked my work pattern for next year and it's my first day off -
If they are being re-assessed before 12 meetings i wouldn't think that team would fit.Unless the team average goes up. I think the reason being,Kerr done 11 matches and would average around 8.
