Bothered about this trophy now you have won it are you .On the home leg thread you didn't seem to bothered as the real trophy is handed out in October Onto the meeting pretty poor really.Best race was the last with Iversen just getting by North on the last lap.Nice that North just give him enough room(unusual). Hope Porsing will be ok after that nasty looking tumble.Think Holder will be he just seemed to be a bit disinterested after his first heat fall. Would like to see the speedway season started mid April that was bloody cold tonight.Instead we start in March and have some nice Wednesday nights off in the summer with no racing. -
Why is everyone getting so excited on this topic.Read the title of the topic and this is correct. Lynn topped the table with Darcys points taken away. BWitcher didn't mention the play-offs in his first post he/she merely stated that Lynn have now topped the table. How topics seem to alter over the course of a few pages.

I thought I knew how the averages worked but I am flummoxed by Holder and Iversens averages.I just thought I would look on the BSPA site because I thought Holder had a 9+ average,i was wrong. But I did see his average after he had finished his stint at Poole was 8.83 all the way through the different issues then on the final one his average dropped to 8.75,why? With Iversen's average he got injured in the early to mid September and his average come 23rd September was issued at 8.77 for October so all the required matches were taken into account. So to me he would have no more matches to add to that average. But come the final issue his average jumped to 9.03. Over to you SCB could you explain

Having watched Lambert all last season the only thing inconsistent with him was his gating.

Absolutely,it's amazing how big a motivator money is. -
He's only saying what the fans have been saying for years.

I would put a few quid in.And if someone went around the EL tracks others would aswell no doubt. But some people don't want the hassle of sorting it and doing it,i am one of those aswell. But I would be quite happy to donate.

Boris is one of the girls,he will be the one holding the joker board aloft -
Take those glasses off.I thought SS had left the forum.I use to value your post's as being unbiased but lately their becoming quite the opposite. Darcy got beat, even after trying for four full laps but to no avail.

That's the one I was thinking of Starlady. But didn't google that as I assumed Bunce was looking for something different to the one played at Norwich. But that is the one Bunce is looking for I think. Great tune, love it.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before,i think Starlady had the answer.I know the tune but can't put a name to it. Try to pm Starlady I'm sure she will know.

Genuine Question In Relation To King's Lynn Speedway
tellboy replied to SCORPIO's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Seems like ColinMills doesn't like anything about King's Lynn speedway. In my umpteen years of going to Lynn I have never had my bag searched or food/drinks taken off me.Only at the SWC does this occur so we know not to take anything, blimey you even have to drink the free monster energy drink you get just before you get in. There are signs saying about no personal food/drink allowed into the stadium,it's been there a while not sure how long though.I'm afraid this happens at most major events throughout the UK. As regards the men searching your bags,i have never ever seen these at King's Lynn speedway before. If you look at the terms and conditions of your ticket the event organisers can search you bags although this is meant to be on safety grounds. I think people are making mountains out of molehills here, just on one event that happens to occur at King's Lynn.It could be at another track and I bet the same would happen. You also mentioned it's common knowledge you cant take your own food/drink to the cinema is it common knowledge? -

Totally agree with you on this.People just seem to complain no matter what. God I remember seeing and odd race on World of Sport from the world finals years ago.I am so happy how far it has come as far as television goes. Not really bothered about the commentary, some of it makes me laugh, some of it makes me cringe but hey we have live speedway. If people are that bothered I am sure they have a mute button on their remote controls -
Something against the Danes?Terrific servants to the British leagues over the years. Anyway money has to be on Poland, then I think Aussies and Denmark not far behind. But I will be behind the underdogs all the way, bring out the bulldog spirit, come on team GB

Swc Event 2 Sweden. 29/7/14
tellboy replied to Star Lady's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Think he should have been excluded first time out,but certainly wasn't anything wrong with his move on Franc in the re-run.Franc didn't seem to bothered by it neither,he made a small mistake and Kildemand was through. -

tellboy replied to Bagpuss's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The tracks named are mostly PL where I think sides are more balanced and should give better racing. And the strength of the Swedish league also should give better racing. What could tell us a bit about the NA is to get a couple of Swedish teams,Lynn And Poole to have a four team tournament around it -

Let's be honest the shape has been pretty much the same for years. So surely it's not got much to do with the shape. The constant watering down of the league and many mis-matched races may be one reason, and what someone else said earlier the bikes themselves are a contributing factor. -

I am going to contradict myself here on the Darcy thing,I think he enjoys the camera in front of him when he's winning so must also expect the camera to be there when he is losing under whatever circumstances. He's just got to live with it.On the other hand incidents like this really get the crowd going and is great for the atmosphere of the meeting.More incidents like this in may bring some fans back who knows. A friend of mine came for the first time and he loved that sort of thing it just gave him an excuse to boo the Aussies, and the time it looked like Woodward gave a hand gesture to the crowd. So while I think it's stupid I also think it's brilliant
