  1. Where did that come from, off another thread? He could offer what he wants it would still go against the rules.
  2. The rules doesn't allow Pickering back, only "in the best interests" would, unless the rules have changed this year.
  3. By the rules he wouldn't have been able to come back this season, only in the best interests would he had been allowed back.To get Laguta in he had to make way as well as KK and bring Kye in at the same time.If they could have got Laguta in just for KK then i'm sure they would have done that, then Kye could have been a 28 day injury replacement for Pickering. If that happened then Pickering would have been allowed back in the side.
  4. That is usually the case. But as IronScorpion has explained certain riders will get their new ones a week after completing their 3H and 3A.90% of riders will get their new rolling averages from the 23rd with the effective date being the 1st of the following month.
  5. Yes,his average changes on the 22nd of June which would take him to reserve.Although the rumours doing the rounds is Pickering will replace him which would leave Howarth at reserve.
  6. Does it mean it's free for me to attend matches as i paid up front,it was within my annual budget
  7. His average of 4 becomes effective from the 22nd of this month.
  8. Except for "in the best interests of speedway". I'm sure Tofty posted somewhere, can't remember where now a picture of his leg in like a plaster and awaiting another x-ray to see if the bone had moved. That obviously sounds like a broken bone.
  9. Yes we would be weaker with R/R for Jakobsen. But what I meant to come across in the first instance was if Pickering was to come back for Lynn on Monday obviously instead of Jakobsen now,you could use R/R for Toft or use King as guest. If Pickering doesn't come back then you have to use Riss for Jakobsen imo.
  10. I was on about King for Toft, sorry if it didn't come across that way.
  11. MT was given a huge chance before the beginning of the season and fooked it up by not delivering on his promises. Alex has unfortunately got a lot bigger concerns outside of speedway. To which is no ones concerns really. The problem with the invention of social media really is that everyone wants to know everyone's business.
  12. Or you could have Danny King as guest maybe.Riss even if he is ok now,see he has done a few meetings for Redcar now. If Pickering isn't fit then I would have Riss for Jakobsen and R/R for Toft.
  13. The reaction from the crowd was as if we had won the league as someone put it.It reminded me of the crowd many years ago when more went.Even I give a big old cheer, something I haven't done for a while, only a jeer towards a ref decision or something is what I am more use too. I'm not a fan of a superheat, last night excepted.Again if it works for you it's the best thing since sliced bread,if it doesn’t then you will be so anti.
  14. See him wandering around.Quite strange to see him back after quite a while away. Can we make anything of it after all what has happened. Buster was quite happy after the super heat, giving hugs out to Laguta and Klindt.
  15. There's obviously 2 reasons you won't have Saturday nights at Lynn, stock cars make the money on the weekend. And for Elite league racing Poland dictate pretty much every day of the week sadly.Even the lesser riders do Poland at the weekends.
  16. Pickering may go to Sheffield it all depends on the rules though.Im sure he will be back at Lynn if the rule which doesn't allow you to re introduce a rider back in your team goes to the "best interests of speedway",where that would allow him back at Lynn. Don't think where he lives has any bearing on where he goes, after all riders come from everywhere.
  17. Totally agree BB,some people get stuck in the past and think it was great then compared to now.But as you say the racing isn't much different at all.You got a lot of strung out races back in the so called good old days. The only thing different back then was the size of crowds and atmosphere that made it seem that much better imo. What else did we have to do in the 70's and 80''s,apart from the obvious. Was thre a baby boom in those decades
  18. Looked for you tonight BB,didn't see you.You must have nipped to the bar at the time I got there. Are there any facts that he come up with more than 10% of what he promised.
  19. There was indeed.People say the track is poor nowadays, mainly from people who don't go.It just proves, get quality riders here and that makes the difference to the racing. Those people will still bash the track without coming to see the likes of Laguta to see how it can be raced. We thought it was slick tonight and didn't seem an outside line,Laguta proved that was not the case.He was great to watch again, just wish he could make starts like he did when he became World Champion.
  20. That was a well deserved draw/win for the Stars. Nice to see Klindt do what is expected of him at last.Jorgensen done his job, think something must have happened after his 3rd ride as he didn't look too pleased.Poor old Tofty put weight on one leg to get up,then it seemed when he put weight on the other he had a problem as you could hear him scream.Edwards struggles at home.Kye was excellent, must be knackered as he is only use to 3 rides. His ht 14 win was crucial.Laguta imperious, apart from his 1st ride but he obviously knew what to put right. Some good racing to go with the result.Went home happy tonight, apart from the injury to Toft which I hope isn't too serious.
  21. And Buster. People know they can go an various social media sites, spout crap and not be known, that's why they do it.You don't very often see people confronting the likes of Buster etc because they would rather hide behind a keyboard.
  22. Bit of a shock waking up this morning to see this. I think it may have been common knowledge that Alex has had personal issues over the last year, but I thought he was getting through OK,unfortunately not it seems.Social media doesn't help in these matters I suppose when people will no doubt give you constant abuse on all fronts.Best for many would not to go on social media or to have skin as thick as an elephant to let it go over their head. We have seen a little abuse on here towards him,I don't know what goes on,on Facebook etc as I don't do it as I think it is all a load of cobblers. Hopefully the months will pass and things will get a little easier for him and we can welcome him back.
  23. I can remember Klindt before unfortunately, it was a few years ago mind.We know what he could and should be doing let's hope this score tonight gives him some belief in himself.
  24. If the return was still to come, the performance from this match would have still been the same. Rather see a scoreline like this than what we have got so far on the road.
