You 100% agree you would have kept Worrall and Lawson,and yet in your best team you could come up with you didn't involve any of those.

Pensioners just getting their pension get help with their rent,council tax,cold weather payments and a few other things. Although getting this nice rise should hopefully keep the crowd levels up next season

I agree,Pickering looks a steal on a 6.14 average.

I would have agreed prior to this season just gone.But I think he actually showed the desire and commitment on the away tracks this season.Imo he was probably one of our better riders over the course of the season.Having said that he again like Lawson may have done himself out of a team place with his average ending up too high.Yet someone like Pickering who flattered to deceive will be in high demand because his average is so low. Speedway is kind of crazy where riders seem to be rewarded for having a poor season previous,then the ones who have a good season previous seem to be on tenterhooks as to whether they will be rewarded with a team place the following season.

Would have gone tonight had i not have already been going out.Would have been nice to see how the lesser league teams go. Would expect a good crowd tonight with Shovlar and his band of merry men making their trip up.Plus i would expect plenty from Leicester making the relatively short trip to the NA.I am sure there will be plenty of locals there too cheering on Leicester.It's tough on Leicester to have their home leg on a neutral track,but if they can pull it off it will be the biggest shock ever in Championship league speedway

I think some promoters do see the flaws,but they know they can use those flaws to their advantage at certain points in the season.So they choose to turn a blind eye to it and hope others don't object to it.Then if more promoters want the flawed rule than not it will be voted in anyway.This is why we need an independent body set up.

I see this fixture is on Wednesday the 2nd of November.Wonder what riders will be available.

Buster was there. When i got there my first impression was that i have never seen the track looking so good as it did last night.It just looked immaculate even down to the white lines.Whether they were using different material last night it just looked different.It certainly wasn't as tacky as it usually is so maybe less clay in it.

Need to build differently and obviously averages come into it.From the October green sheets,believe this or not the Lynn team had the 2nd highest team average by some distance only behind Belle Vue.Seems ridiculous doesn't it that based on this years rules Lynn and Belle Vue would have to dumb down while the rest could strengthen up. 7.91 would be a no go for me on Lawson and Jorgensen probably one of our riders of the season maybe too high on a 6.35.Pickering just over 6 would be ok.would probably be the only other one from the top 5 i would have back.Averages may change as it has been the season of weird goings on.So we will have to wait to see what changes they make at their get together and go from there i suppose.

Didn't seem sarcastic when i read it Phil.It probably would have sounded more sarcastic had you left it at the dancing bit.But you then go on and pretty much lay the blame at Lynn's door because they knew of it a few days ago but didn't want it mentioned.So according to Lambert you have told a porkie.

Imo both promotions are at fault for advertising the said teams.They both had the opportunity to inform the fans that Lambert wasn't going to be there.They both chose not too.Would those few Belle Vue fans there have travelled had they known there team beforehand.That must have cost themselves a small fortune last night.Hopefully the Belle Vue promotion will reimburse their costs with the saving they made from not having to pay Lambert. Apart from all this rubbish going on though,the meeting was excellent and one of if not the best this season.Fair play to Zagar.S.Lambert and especially Kurtz for getting stuck in.

I agree it's a piss take re Lambert,Belle Vue not wanting to shell out another £5000? But to say fans will turn out to watch rubbish.This meeting has been a very good watch by the way.Plenty of hard racing and overtaking.The track does look differently to me tonight.

I heard the track was bladed either before or after the stock cars cant remember now.So I would like to think the track would be laid today.

If as some people are saying the scores from tonight won't count towards the averages,I assume that would keep Jakobsen on his 5.04 average as this meeting won't count.

No he's not,that was meant to be tongue in cheek.They won't go down that line I'm sure. Why would they get paid for being ill?Pickering's average is low enough now for whoever gets him next season.Klindt I'm unsure really his average is about 7.5 unsure if that is good or not for someone to pick up.If you compare it with R.Lambert's average then that isn't a good average for him.

I was thinking if King's Lynn were hoping to sign Jakobsen next season they would prefer him on a 5.04 and not a 7+.Maybe he will be rested tomorrow unless Lynn aren't interested in him for next season.They maybe thinking along the lines of S.Lambert at reserve next season and not Jakobsen

Glad I decided to have a nice week in the sunshine now looking at that result.May as well book every October as Lynn don't seem to be able to step it up a gear to win anything come crunch time.That seems to be management and riders. Re Kerr,while he seems to have been scoring better I would have expected his average to be 7+ with the average now only being over 10 matches,but he is not.Imo he will never do that 6,6.5 at best for him even in the watered down league.Never has been consistent enough away from home. Oh well shower time ready for another day in the ☀
