  1. I know BB,it was all tongue in cheek really with the bit about Buster having to gazump himself. But a bit of "in the best interests"and you never know
  2. I wonder if Buster has gazumped himself and got one of the changes to come to Lynn in place of NKI
  3. It doesn't provide an outside line whatever the weather according to many Ipswich fans. Its not been baking got all season I know
  4. This is the 2022,people don't stick together anymore like they use too in 70's and 80's to get what they want/deserve.People would rather stab you in the back nowadays. This is in pretty much any job/proffession you do now.
  5. This is true,Poland aren't banning anyone but they are restricting them. For instance he could sign in Poland and only ride 2 other leagues. Then people will say well he don't have to ride Poland then realistically you still only have the UK,Sweden and Denmark. So still only 3 leagues. They are restricting riders because what ever way a rider goes about he will have to drop a league.
  6. Travel was a lot different then,it would have been like it is in Poland now but the other way around, monetary wise much better for them to be here.
  7. Can't say I remember that.I didnt think they stopped rider's from riding elsewhere.Understandibly they didn't want rider's riding somewhere else on a night they was meant to be riding in the UK,which was fair enough.Im sure they got bans for this if they did.I didn't think they were stopped from riding elsewhere which is happening at the moment concerning Poland.
  8. Were we ever dictators? Can't really remember British clubs refusing to let riders appear in other leagues.
  9. But if they bought down the demise of speedway in those countries, they must think where Polish speedway wil be in 20/30 years time. There won't be any Lamberts,Madsens,Lindgrens to pick.
  10. Firstly i thought the meeting last night was a very poor one.All pretty much gate and gone, apart from two overtakes as Trees said,in 17 hts that's shocking. Then onto the use of the rising stars, through no fault of there own Sheffield faced 3 rising stars i think it was.You probably can't fault the other team managers neither as they will only look at when they think it is best to put in their r/s,without realising Sheffield had already faced a few. I would like to see an amendment to the rule now over the use of the rising stars.I would still like them involved but they could use their averages. The top two average wise should meet in the race between the two teams ie Brennan v Hume have to meet (Belle Vue v Ipswich),Mountain v Flint(Sheffield v Wolves)Jenkins v Mulford(Peterborough v King's Lynn)This way every team will only face a rising star once.Plus the rising star has to face another rising star which should make it more competetive than being yards behind the 3 main riders.
  11. I don't agree with the averages changing a week after they should do.But now Lynn have to use it if it can be done. Also only if R.Lambert is available come July. Can Lynn after next weeks match against Sheffield drop Lawson and bring in Lambert before the averages change. Then on the 1st of July bring Lawson back in for Iversen as it is looking like his average could fall below Iversen's.I know there is a rule about not being able to re-introduce a rider that has been dropped, although in the best interests could come into play.Problem is the likelehood is Lambert wouldn't be available anyway.R/R isn't good enough, guests rarely are too. This is a huge blow to Lynn following on from the news of the injury to Jack Thomas. The play-offs at present look a million miles off.Thank you Poland.
  12. The Poles think they can pi$$ on everyone.Dont think they will be happy until they have ruined speedway in the UK,Denmark and Sweden.
  13. Like I said, who's worried about the programmes. The times I have had inserts with the wrong programmes over the years.Only this year I had a Lynn v Wolves match programme with an insert as it wasn't even Wolves there. That is a lame excuse I think as to why they can't change the averages quicker. Maybe they can change the race page to something like a GP race page where they leave riders 1-7 blank and we fill them in.
  14. Who's worried about the programmes, that shouldn't have an effect on when someone's average should come into effect.
  15. So as a Lynn fan I have to wait 5yrs after days of rain.I might see you in another 30 years then on my zimmer frame.
  16. I attended the other week when Lynn were there, won't be going again for a long while.Just doesn't give anything for the riders who are busting a gut and clearly quicker to get around the outside.
  17. Three times in four races they have faced a rising star, although in one it was Mountain against Hume. Personally I think rising stars in the event should be graded and race against each other ie Brennan v Mountain in one race etc.
  18. 12 heats gone and not one good race.Maybe Andersen v Kurtz but that only involved one move.
  19. I need a lot more gin, could have got another bottle with the £13 I spent on the stream
  20. Andersen was hard done by there, definitely first bend bunching. Also let Ellis get away with a move at the start in the first race .
  21. Not just a great ride,i think it was a very good race too
  22. Lambert's average would come under Scott's,not just over so not expecting him.But who knows.
