  1. A track like this can also put someone seriously injured in hospital.
  2. Thought Lewi would have been in ht15 tbh instead of NKI.Ht 14 TJ rode his nuts off to try to get the race win but lost his place to Riss who just rode the inside line constantly.Riss got 12pts tonight by not venturing of the inside line. Was happy to take a point before the meeting, but slightly disappointed we didn't get more in the end.Only the scoreline kept it interesting, the racing certainly didnt.
  3. Pretty much every pass on the inside, someone drifts a little wide it's night night.Closeness of the score keeps it interesting though. Think Ipswich have to much now though with Doe having 2 left.
  4. It certainly does imo.Riss,Batchelor and the two reserves isn't it?
  5. Going to make my first visit to the foxhole for many a year today. My last visit was to watch a friend ride when he had a spell with Workington before returning to the best club in the land Sun is out,it's warm the only thing to top it off today would be a Lynn win
  6. Oh,didn't know that.I think he will summon up the strentgth to ride in the biggest derby in speedway
  7. Personally thought the track needed grading at least another couple of times. The dirt line was so wide if you were on it you weren't caught. Our Mr entertainment Pickering couldn't do anything in his last 2 races as the ones in front was on that line and the inside gave you nothing,as he said afterwards.Having said that though there was some tough, hard racing but all fair imo Although the ref kept his fingers on the button, there was that many re-runs we actually finished at the same time as normal. As with Kerr lets hope this is the turning point in his season,as up until now he has been pretty poor.He was good for Redcar at the weekend with some quick times.Be nice for another max at Ipswich Thursday
  8. Would have to be a guest/no8 for Blodorn as he is at reserve.
  9. Panthers were poor imo.Hans,Basso and Toft were ok,but the rest were a shambles.Wouldnt expect to see Hans score that again on a normal Lynn track. The track was fairly dusty after about a third of the meeting. And the line to be on was the outside, you hit that you dictate the race.Lynn gifted points too which made the scoreline closer than what it should have been. The track didn't seem to have any moisture in it,obviously worried about any rainfall that didn't materialise. Anyway another 3pts and hopefully a few more on Thursday would be nice.
  10. They will do again. Its only Iversens average that has changed which had made this change. Looks quite dry here Bagpuss
  11. Keep it coming BB because it's been raining here in Wisbech for the last 30 minutes, and of course you Star Lady nice to see you on the forum now and again
  12. Thought so Neil, thanks for the clarification. Edit:Just seen they have now changed it on the Kings Lynn v Peterborough preview, with Pickering at one tonight and then Lawson at one for June.Just as we had thought
  13. What better way to celebrate her birthday than to bring her to speedway
  14. On the latest green sheets it has Pickering above Lawson and the new averages don't come into effect until the 1st of June as per norm.Obviously their averages change every match due to those now rolling but they still only change every month to determine riding positions. I'm lost with all this now, whatever i will still be there tomorrow night.
  15. How come Lawson moves to number one.I thought the averages would come into effect from June.Although i see Iversen's became effective from the 26th of this month,so i take it the whole team does on the same date then or surely Pickering has a higher average than Lawson until June.
  16. This is why there are so many supplementry regs, because everyone(promotors)always try to twist the original reg that they have to supplement the original so that certain twist can't happen again.Expect another supplement on this rule for 2023.
  17. I think Lawson had to turn left as a corner was coming up.There was so much room on the outside for Ellis to go but he chose to cut back off bend 4 because he was worried about Pickering coming up on the inside of him, then before he knew he ran into the back of Lawson,Lawson didn't run into him.If you look at the lines on the track Lawson was on that, the fastest one so he could go slower if you know what i mean.
  18. Imo Lawson never came off the racing line,he was just a lot slower. We use to call Sitera the road block because he would gate and was always slower than the other guys. It's up to them to get around him.
  19. Quite right Bagpuss. You are pretty much turning left all the time at Alwalton.Ellis imo could have gone outside or inside but chose to take the same line as Lawson as he was on the quicker line.If the man in front of you is slower you have to take a different line to pass him surely.
  20. They rode well as a team imo.Where as most of the others didn't. Not sure if the scores were said correctly they may have been, but it is 1st 12pts,2nd 8pts,3rd 6pts,4th 4pts,5th 2pts and 6th 0pts
  21. That's alwaya been in the rule,so teams can use horses for courses if they want,as long as they are in the top 4 of the averages for the month the pairs event takes place.
  22. Is it any different to last year?Apart from Peterborough are losing.
