  1. If you read my post, the ref called it before Buster had finished the track work.So no the riders couldn't go out on the track before it was called off.
  2. Of course the ref has to call it off as he is there. But they are known to be persuaded.
  3. This is my fear too bluebee. He may have had doubts like this in the past but has never gone public with it like he did tonight.I don't care what some people think about him,he has managed to keep a speedway club going for 30 years there is not too many people about like him.We need more of him to take on speedway clubs for 30+ years but they are on the decline sadly.
  4. No,you didn't get my point. The refs had made their mind up when Buster had just started putting the track right.Didn't have the decency to stop him before working on the track for about 45 minutes.
  5. I know it looked good,i have seen many tracks worse than that and that is standard. It's down to attitudes of riders now unfortunately. As i was speaking to someone coming out.A couple of years ago when the Young England took on a young Danish side it was one of the best matches that season,if not the best, and guess what the track had to be bladed.Difference in attitude of riders.
  6. They didn't want any of it and that was before Buster got it into better shape.Seems like they had got it into their heads and there was no changing their minds,it worked on the ref too.Disappointed to see Stead wanting it off i remember travelling to Vojens to watch GB race in the WC,it was very wet and he loved it,he didn't want it off that night.
  7. I don't blame Buster for his statement but i do hope he changes his mind.He worked his arse off to get the track rideable(Holder).Pretty sure as the refs went by me(home straight)they said it would be off, that was just as Buster started work on the track. Why didn't they tell him before he worked his arse off,did we expect anything else from the ref.Stead and Howarth was pleased it was off, they didn't half looked shocked though when Buster said what he did.Why couldn't a couple of riders have gone out for a spin to test the track?
  8. That's more than likely to do with the Gp challenge on Saturday afternoon I would assume.Wouldnt have time to race Friday then get to the challenge.
  9. Only with the inclusion of the 5% for a home meeting can we have your top two, otherwise it would have been anyone from the other 5.Before anyone says,i know Ostergaard is injured. Think Lynn fans would be happy to see Toft guest imo if Jorgensen wasn't fit. Edit:Just seen he is included in his Danish team for their match tonight so hopefully he will be ok.
  10. I see Scunthorpe are using R/R for Jorgensen tonight. He bent his fingers when they got caught in Pedersen's wheel last night.Must be another injury doubt for tomorrow. If he is out,any of the Peterborough riders will fit.
  11. Ellis must be a doubt for this one.Withdrawn down at Plymouth tonight and has withdrawn form the meeting at Poole tomorrow night. It's a shame after just becoming British Champion,it would have been nice for him to take the applause of the many fans he would have been in front of over the next few days.
  12. At King's Lynn I have booked tickets online and that is through seatedly, never had a handling fee added at all.
  13. Hope Kasper is alright, had to withdraw after his 1st ride tonight at Berwick.
  14. Problem in speedway is when a rider improves so much like Lawson and Ostergaard they become less appealing for a team spot the following season.Should somehow be rewarded for improving yourself. But it will be riders like Heeps etc who will probably get team spots before the likes of Lawson and Ostergaard because of being able to make their averages fit better into a team.
  15. Lawson was fooked,3 on the bounce is very demanding on man and machine, but unfortunately we were in a position really where you just couldn't leave him out.The hardest decision I thought was who to put with him.
  16. Not a bad meeting last night, not the best though this season.I wonder just how costly Kaspers E/F at the start of ht 4 was to Lynn possibly getting a point from this. Tough decision I thought for both managers to make for Ht 15 who to put in and who not. That was a little test for my newly installed pacemaker.Saying that it wasn't really as pacemakers don't stop your heart going to quick only to slow. Good luck to Peterborough in the play offs, probably get over to see them in that.Although it's not my thing to see two other sides other than when Lynn are involved. We have been starved with the lack of meetings this season which may push me to go.
  17. Could you use him as a guest for the play offs? Having said that though I could see his average going above Ostergaard's next month. He has been excellent for Lynn this season.
  18. Just got mine,no problem. You can pay on the gate now as far as I am aware.
  19. Thought you could watch ITV wherever now if you really wanted to.My mate does and he lives nearly 2000 miles away.
  20. What's he been up to then . I Suppose he was part of a team who was involved in an attempted robbery of a result last night
  21. Yes it's only heats 1-4 and heat 8 where a tac sub is not allowed.
