  1. I know the ref is getting on a bit now but someone needs to remind him most Mcdonalds are open 24hrs now.
  2. Weren't no muck as you like to put it on the track. When you see the Gp challenge today where the track was absolutely dangerous it makes you wonder why they couldn't have attempted this.Although Barker and Harris were willing but stopped by the ref who i assume hasn't ridden a bike before.
  3. Every British track is. Nothing that interesting really.Track is dangerous, there's bigger ruts at the track than there is in a freshly ploughed field and there's more dirt in a pro*%tutes pants. You can see why Buster gets pissed off now,bet these riders wouldn't have rode Thursday on a track that wouldn't have endangered riders lives like it is here.
  4. You know he meant the end of the season. He obviously wasn't thinking about this fixture having to be re-arranged at the time. It's a bit like a couple of fans outside wasn't going to pay to come in as they couldn't make next week so thought they would lose their money. They said it without thinking of the re-arrangement too.You are just stirring things up like you do on many occasions.
  5. You know what he meant semion.Don't know why you have to keep stirring.
  6. If he thinks too much about the risks he is taking,it's time he got out of speedway. Nice to hear Bomber thinking about the fans, wish some others would follow his lead.
  7. Yes the ref called it before any work was done quite possibly because several riders wasn't going to ride whatever. Lynn rode on a much worse track at Wolves recently so I would have expected most of them to give at go had they have been allowed. Ref should have sent out Hume and Barker, they would have covered all of the track with their riding styles.
  8. If you read my post, the ref called it before Buster had finished the track work.So no the riders couldn't go out on the track before it was called off.
  9. Of course the ref has to call it off as he is there. But they are known to be persuaded.
  10. This is my fear too bluebee. He may have had doubts like this in the past but has never gone public with it like he did tonight.I don't care what some people think about him,he has managed to keep a speedway club going for 30 years there is not too many people about like him.We need more of him to take on speedway clubs for 30+ years but they are on the decline sadly.
  11. No,you didn't get my point. The refs had made their mind up when Buster had just started putting the track right.Didn't have the decency to stop him before working on the track for about 45 minutes.
  12. I know it looked good,i have seen many tracks worse than that and that is standard. It's down to attitudes of riders now unfortunately. As i was speaking to someone coming out.A couple of years ago when the Young England took on a young Danish side it was one of the best matches that season,if not the best, and guess what the track had to be bladed.Difference in attitude of riders.
  13. They didn't want any of it and that was before Buster got it into better shape.Seems like they had got it into their heads and there was no changing their minds,it worked on the ref too.Disappointed to see Stead wanting it off i remember travelling to Vojens to watch GB race in the WC,it was very wet and he loved it,he didn't want it off that night.
  14. I don't blame Buster for his statement but i do hope he changes his mind.He worked his arse off to get the track rideable(Holder).Pretty sure as the refs went by me(home straight)they said it would be off, that was just as Buster started work on the track. Why didn't they tell him before he worked his arse off,did we expect anything else from the ref.Stead and Howarth was pleased it was off, they didn't half looked shocked though when Buster said what he did.Why couldn't a couple of riders have gone out for a spin to test the track?
  15. That's more than likely to do with the Gp challenge on Saturday afternoon I would assume.Wouldnt have time to race Friday then get to the challenge.
  16. Only with the inclusion of the 5% for a home meeting can we have your top two, otherwise it would have been anyone from the other 5.Before anyone says,i know Ostergaard is injured. Think Lynn fans would be happy to see Toft guest imo if Jorgensen wasn't fit. Edit:Just seen he is included in his Danish team for their match tonight so hopefully he will be ok.
  17. I see Scunthorpe are using R/R for Jorgensen tonight. He bent his fingers when they got caught in Pedersen's wheel last night.Must be another injury doubt for tomorrow. If he is out,any of the Peterborough riders will fit.
  18. Ellis must be a doubt for this one.Withdrawn down at Plymouth tonight and has withdrawn form the meeting at Poole tomorrow night. It's a shame after just becoming British Champion,it would have been nice for him to take the applause of the many fans he would have been in front of over the next few days.
  19. At King's Lynn I have booked tickets online and that is through seatedly, never had a handling fee added at all.
  20. Hope Kasper is alright, had to withdraw after his 1st ride tonight at Berwick.
