  1. I may be wrong on this, but who was it back in the seventies who made a few minature speedway bikes, say 1/24 scale the size of a model. They were fabricated out of metal and actually ran. I want to say Howard Cole? They were perfect copies of a JAP and Jawa. Anyone help?
  2. And chk, thanks for the support.
  3. All I can say is the word you called wwtbp was the worst I have heard on the forum. I still think your art is great, however, it is no excuse for such behaviour. So if I am talking out of my backside, sunshine, listen real close.... Braaaattt, Phooooot......
  4. ok jb you win.........feel better? ok, since I am talking outta my backside get close so you can hear....... PHOOOOOT....
  5. As good as he was, he was not a pontificating, pompous a** like so many are now a days.... He didnt believe in the hype that was laid upon him... By the way, this is not pointed at anyone ok? :!:
  6. Lunchy, all kidding aside, we all know Aussies never fight and play well with others! Tell me the truth,... Is it me? I need to know... ? Funny enough, I like JB's direct attitude, besides all kidding aside, he is a really good artist, so I know he is a bit special, you know? Creative people are just a bit different, just cranky sometimes. 8) I guess I am pushing buttons, dont really mean to.
  7. Sorry JB, I was off base about the pub, but the mean streak in my comment stays, poor chk, I never heard such language. And to you Lunchy, sorry, I had no idea you had such high standards... Cant we all just get along...
  8. Cyclone, what with the wide bars and all you certainly know how to kill a thread, with all respect, Sandman 8)
  9. Now... I think something just went whoosh!! Right over my head..... Do you do paintings in black and white? And to keep this on thread, I think Tommy Jansson was the most gifted rider.....
  10. Been to the pub have we????
  11. Yeah,... I still think long handlebars are more... uh... manly.... And Sverre coulda,... well you know what I mean. :? As far as a late night I guess it depends if it is your birthday, if that is the case, I am going to bed....You are meaner than I am..
  12. Hey JB, do you ever use black and white medium in your art? Sandman
  13. Excuse me for a minute while I pull my foot out of my mouth.. What great news, wish I could see it....
  14. I spoke with him and there are no plans for a comeback, just training schools,... But hey,... Who knows?
  15. I havent been drinking promise! Sorry for wasting valuable space, wont happen again... Bloody computers!!!
  16. Hate to disappoint, but from what I hear only doing traing sessions, however, having said that if he feels good on a bike again who knows? Interesting....
  17. Sorry for the screw up...
  18. Really, I promise, I quit..... Personally I like tight and grippy, with a big set of hamdlebars... Oooops sorry....
  19. to wwtbp, I still think the bigger bars were moe,... uh... manly, dont you? And I think Sverre was a bit more of a natural than Ove..
  20. Yeah JB, Remember all the originals you were gonna do cheapish for us, you said so, and I dont mind waiting until November!
  21. Now that was fun, lets do it again, Happy Birthday DD... 8)
  22. I do think it is a good subject, but doing it respectifully takes a bit of care. It was always sad to me to see a former great hang on a bit too long or make an ill advised comeback. It seems people tend to remember the so called last race, and sometimes forget the past achievements. 8)
  23. JB, I will concede that you are a true artist. Your paintings are accurate down to the last bolt. Your love of the sport reflects in your art. Now having said that, well... Ove being not too big I was always surprised at the need for such big handlebars.. 8)
