King’s Lynn v Sheffield 01/06/23
Heathcote replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Riding for Gdansk at Bydgoscz, the same reason Bellego is missing, although uncertain whether Bellego will ride in that meeting as still feeling the effects of his spill at Sheffield last week -

Who is the guest for Klindt? -
Belle Vue -V- Wolves day/night
Heathcote replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The meeting was always due to start at 8, the 30 min build up is on Discovery. The question comes now what happens at 8 as they not going to have the second set done by 8?. -
Wolves v Belle Vue Wolves should run out comfortable winners of this i think, around the 52-38 mark, so definitely backing Wolves at -8 Ryan Douglas over 7 and Douglas to outscore Charles are also plays. A bit of a gamble as Becker could keep finishing ahead of Ryan, just thinking after injury and a lot tighter track than what he rode on the continent saturday and at the NSS this morning could see him struggle a little more hence Dougy taking the heat wins. Charles does ride Monmore well and should generally finish ahead of Jaimon but still think he will struggle to outscore Dougy. Becker, even if not totally 100% should outscore Jaimon even at -1 Peterboro v Leicester Well i dont see Peterboro winning this at all, thinking a 4 pt away victory. Basso not been going well, Worrall, depends what mood hes in, Cook will find it a bit harder in the team and MPT, well i havent seen enough from him so far this season to say he can do a number 1's job. So Leicester to win and also Leicester +4 on the Hcap. Also Backing Sedgman over 4, MPT under 8, NKI over 8 and also NKI over Morris at -2, Niels should be almost guaranteed at least 5 rides, Whereas Nick will only get the 4 ** Not sure if anyone checked, but during last weeks TV meeting on Eurosport, Bet365 had a very large range of in-play markets, so could be a few quid to made once you see how everyone is performing **
-
Yes I see them now cheers Does anyone know if there is a late change to the Leicester team...like Lawson decided hes not fit?? As i cannot believe the price on Leicester? +4 on the Hcap and 2/1 to just win the meeting? A bit reluctant to pile in on those if a rider suddenly not at the track
-
Where you seeing this?? My 365 is showing no markets at all for the Peterboro fixture?
-
From the GP Qualifiers a few bets of interest, Holder over 12 and Ellis under 9 Doyle over 13, barring EF i cant see anyone in this field getting close enough to prevent a 15pt max, so obvioulsy Doyle over Pawlicki is also a bet. Bomber over 8, as well as Norrick over Smolinski
-
Think this will be closer than what 365 are predicting so will be backing Wolves at +10 on the handicap and also at +4 after heat 8 The spreads seem pretty much spot on to me for the individual scores etc, but will be backing Zach Cook to outscore Paco

Sheffield v King’s Lynn - 25th May
Heathcote replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
With the return of this meeting on the 1st June am I correct in assuming Klindt and Bellego will be missing, due to the clash of fixtures with Bydgoscz and Gdansk? Or do the english fixtures take precedence? -
Sheffield v Kings Lynn A few plays in this meeting as I think Sheffields recent run of away meetings that have been below standard have lead to BET365 underestimating them. Ok the rumoured changes at KL may fire them up or demoralise a few but still think the Tigers will run out 52-38 winners of this meeting, so taking the -12 H'cap. Bellego is a completely different rider around Sheffield to the rest of the UK and expect him to fill his boots tonight so taking the over 7, he's averaging 9 points at home this season and was paid 11 from 4 rides the last time Lynn where in town and I havent seen much to suggest Lynn are a much better side than they where 7 weeks ago, OK the addition of Douglas should make them a little more competitive. Jack Holder -4 over Klindt, 99% certain Jack will be taking 5 rides and I dont see Klindt scoring 8 or more. Pickering over Lewis Kerr off scratch, a bit of a risk, but if Josh isnt suffering too much with recent injuries then i can easily see him picking up 7 rides and should be able to outscore Lewis if he does have all 7. Also done Sheffield - 8 at Heat 8 as I think they will be rooming away with it early on Ipswich v Leicester Just the 3 plays as i think 365 have it pretty much spot on for the H'cap of a Witches win by 6. Emil over Fricke, Ok Max could be having 6 rides, but still only see him getting 12 max, apart from Doyley I dont see anyone beating Emil over the line. Allen over Hume, Can see Danyon winning heat 2 but then dont see where he picks up another point, sure Jake can pick up 4 3rd places Sedgman over Rew, just due to the fact Justin will get 5 rides
-
Not really seeing a lot of value in 365's offerings so far for both meetings, but a couple of punts im prepared to take for small stakes below Belle Vue v Wolves I think Belle Vue will run out comfortable 10 point winners of the meeting, Wolves will know, no last places for the first half of the meeting and the job of qualifying will be done without taking too many risks, so worth a bet on Belle Vue at -6. Ryan Douglas is riding reasonably well in both leagues here at the moment and hit double figures on both his visits to the NSS last season so will back home to get over 8. Also like the look of Lidsey -1 of Schlein. Rory has been around long enough to know that theres no need to risk much in this type of meeting especially once qualification is secured and could well spend some of his races shepherding Zack Cook around for a 3-3. Kings Lynn v Peterborough Two poor teams in my opinion that would only take one rider on each side to suddenly hit form and the result could be a million miles off anyones prediction, like KK's recent 15 point haul, if he did that again or Klindt hit form the the Stars could run out 20 point winners. In Lawson I think Peterboro are guaranteed a double figure score, so only takes NKI to hit some form and it will be a very close meeting. So am taking the gamble on NKI, with a possibility of 6 rides im hoping he can get 11 points so backing him over 10. If NKI does hit double figures then the Panthers will get within 10 points of the Stars, so taking the Panthers on the handicap.

Difficult one to pick out any value bets for tonights meeting, not knowing the exact state of the track with regards rain and the impending GP at the weekend Regardless of the above though think Ipswich will win by 12-14 51-39, 52-38 so will take the bet on Ipswich at -10 Although I dont see Basso and Worrall winning many races as a pair I also dont see them coming last either, trouble is which one will finish in front and which one will get the bonus point, therefore buggering up any bet, but think Basso at +3 over Rew is worth a risk. Although Rew is almost guaranteed 5 rides and he has been improving of late I still only see hm picking up 5 points, Im hoping Basso can scrape together 9, if he gets 8 from 4 he will get himself in Heat 15 Danny King is guaranteed 5 rides also and with the GP coming up hopefully he gets the nod in heat 15 in also over Jason or Emil, so will back him to score over 12
-
Think Leicester will just edge a close meeting tonight, so avoiding the H'cap of -4, just a bit too close for my liking. 3 bets that look good to me are Sam Masters over 8, on his last visit he was untroubled except for a retirement, with the possibility of 6 rides he should easily be hitting double figures. As a result of the possibility of 6 rides I will also be backing him to outscore Fricke. Max hasn't exactly hit top gear at home and could be limited to just the 4 rides this evening. Cant say I have seen too much from Nick Morris around Leicester this season, only averaging around 7 points, as a result will be backing him to score under 9.
-
Brief write up as forgot these start in 5 mins Leicester at +12, feel sure that Leicester can keep it to a 49-41/50-40 loss, Fricke, Lawson, Bomber should be able to keep the score reasonable in my opinion As a result of the above statement also backing Lawson to outscore Brennan and Harris to outscore Lidsey. In the hope that Fricke has 6 rides, backing him to score over 11 The Ipswich KL match will be close, as just dont see the stars running that many last places, also cant see them crossing the line first too many times either. Although as Doyle and Emil will be out in Heats 13 and 15 gaining a 5-1 in both heats feel Ipswich should over come the -2 handicap. From his 5 rides King should score over 10, also backing KK to score over 6 and Jorgensen at -1 to outscore Rew
-
Belle Vue at -12????? Am I missing something here as I see nothing but a 20 point plus victory for the aces...or has there been some last minute team changes?
-
Id say the Ipswich / Leicester double at 5/2 is a great value bet, not often your getting those odds on just the home teams winning the meeting Although if anyone is fancying Ipswich at 21/20 to just win the meeting then also backing both Doyle and Emil over 12 has to be a bet, as the Witches arent winning unless those 2 go almost unbeaten
-
Peterboro v Belle Vue Bewley to score over 10, now he has had a few meetings under his belt both here and abroad I feel he should be much sharper than his early season form has suggested on these shores, his 11 points in Poland yesterday should have given him more confidence as well. Im also backing him to outscore Basso as well I feel there is some value in Peterborough at +4 at home tonight, looking down the respective line ups Its only Bewley and Blodorn that i would consider stronger than MPT and Hans. Worrall and Basso are definitely stronger than Wright and Brennan at the EoES, the sam can be said for Cook and Jenkins over Lidsey and Mulford, whilst NKI and Brady are probably going to score equal amounts, so I think the Panthers should get 44 points. The 21/10 on offer for them to win the meeting is tempting, but at this moment i havent convinced myself that Bewley can have another poor meeting. Leicester v Ipswich Leicester to cover the -4 H'cap without too much hassle in my opinion, the loss of Riss is just a little too much for the witches to carry with only King likely to come in as a race winner. Emil under 11 is also a bet for me, just on the fact he has never ridden the track, its a KO Cup meeting so cannot have any more than 5 rides, amy not even get all 5 if the ex Lion King has a good night from his scheduled 5 rides, so in the hope it takes Emil a couple of rides to figure the track out its worth taking him to score less than 11 Keynan Rew to score under 5 also, I know he will have 5 rides but just dont see who he will be beating around Leicester, apart from finishing ahead of his own reserves. Fricke to score over 9, potentially risky in the fact that Sedgman has gone well so far this season and Fricke could well follow him occasionally, also the fact that any of the Lions top 5 could get the Heat 15 ride but i feel on his own track Max will be determined to get one over his fellow GP riders and keep himself infant of Doyley and Emil.
-
Main bet for me is the treble of Ipswich, Leicester and Kings Lynn to all win, which pays just over even money Ipswich v Belle Vue Think 365 are spot on with the idea it will be a 46-44 home win, Ipswich top 2 will see them home in the end and backing both to score over 12 and over 11. Also taking Emil at -2 over Brady Leicester v Peterborough I personally think it will be a 10pt home victory but only bets i will be staking are Fricke over 10 and also Fricke at +3 over NKI, I know NKI could have 7 rides tonight, but even from 7 I dont see him scoring 17+ points, So feel confident enough Fricke will do enough from his 5 rides Kings Lynn v Wolves I see this being a home win around 48-42, so only bets for me are Pickering over Douglas and also Masters over 10

So isnt this the moment the new Premiership CEO should be raising his head above the parapet and ensuring the rulebook is understood and strictly adhered too....as his press release for the job stated.... or his he just going to be another taking some form of payment from British speedway whilst actually achieving or doing sweet fa. We all know Nicki isnt injured so at least speak up and state why the Panthers have been granted the RR facility, is it due to him withholding his services...or have his polish club told him where is bread is buttered, the CEO should at least have the balls to drop Pedersen/Peterboro/Grudziadz in it, dont mug off the dwindling paying public.
-
Slim pickings for tonights meeting although I do fancy Wolves to win 49-41 so will take the -6 on offer at 365. Bewley must pick up form soon I assume, so backing him at over 9, as apart from him and Brady I dont see any of the others Aces getting Heat 15, so Dan should be getting double figures from his 5 rides. Also taking him to outscore Masters with a +1 H'cap. A fair chance that Worrall and Masters will take points off each other, I somehow dont see Norrick getting in front of Bewley too often
-
Sheffield v Kings Lynn Thinking the result of this will be 54-36 in the Tigers favour Ive taken the -12 on offer, although think both ex tigers in Klindt and Pickering will get over 6, as they will provide the majority of the Stars points and both should get 5 rides. Also had Josh to outscore Bellego with the 1pt start Ipswich v Leicester Again think this will end around 54-36 so again taken the -8 on offer for the Witches. Emil to score over 10 and also to outscore Fricker even with the -2 h'cap. Also a punt on Sedgman to outscore Rew
-
KK Under 5, Pickering Over 4 and Wolves at -4 Bewley Over 10, Andersen Under 5 and Lidsey Under 8, Iversen to Outscore Lidsey
-
Belle Vue to easily cover the -8 tonight Bewley over 11, barring EF dont see him being beaten and also Bewley -1 over Musielak
