With our luck lately, not liking Mr RR.

Not all riders only get paid for points.

That's if Jack had wanted to be at Poole tbh it's not a given.

Blimey meeting day, nearly forgotten what that is!! Anyways, it might be sunny, but it's very breezy and the wind is cold, so any hardy souls venturing to Foxhall tonight, be prepared to wrap up. I know if any hardy Edinburgh fans come, they will think it's warm, but us Suffolk softies, on Suffolk day no less, know how chilly it is!!

We usually have 2 paramedics at foxhall -
Fixed night farce-how much longer

Although only 1 club rode on a Thursday night, so why negotiate that night for PL. Perhaps they should have gone for Monday and Friday or Saturday. -
Doesn't seem to be much interest in us this season, but read on Twitter georgie wood (nl) in for Michael on Sunday v the pussycats
-
Maybe wrong I usually am, but think both laguta bros failed to get visas for wtc one year.

But those are the one's he's discarded for the pirates for one reason or another, so he can't expect to just wait and hope he needs them at some point. And they are earning him money.

I suppose we should for that, be thankful its Tony Steele and not chris gay refereeing, although he has, on occasion, offered some strange decisions. -

Can't believe it, we have a meeting this week and we have a full team.....oh no we don't, by virtue of Michael and his German team mates qualifying for SON, we have James Sarjeant at no 2. and a new No 1. http://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/witches-v-tigers-speedway-preview-1-5547289 -
Nathan's a little diamond, he'll do well for you.
-
Did I dream it, or was there a rule once upon a time, that said you couldn't sign an asset unless the rider rode for the team
-
After last night's showing, he'd do well to try and resurrect the Smolinski signing??
-
Well when you have a club that doesn't like having Brit assets hmmm.
-
Well will Michael be riding for us on Thursday or are we able to have guest?? Same for Nico should he and paco qualify on Tuesday
-
Kyle's an asset to any club he rides for, doing great at lakeside, wish he was still with us tbh. Connor has a liking for this track, so should go well. Enjoy your "proper" speedway meeting

A normal night at championship club speedway then Steve.
-
I'm not too sure the cl has been sacrificed for the pl. I was under the impression we could only do 1 home and away, due to a few cl teams losing so much money, they couldn't afford to run more often. I might be wrong of course.

Tbf pinny, clubs were queuing up to bring holder over, my own included. Just poole's financials were better I guess.

Just don't restage on 2nd August Swindon, half of your team are riding at Ipswich that night -

Hopefully, he'd have been my first choice tbh, alongside Robert to back Tai up -
Crikey, so little happening for us to discuss, we got relegated to page 2 After our very enjoyable 2017 season, this feels like a non season some how. Anyway Danny's column taken from EADT http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/speedway/danny-king-back-on-track-in-his-column-1-5538966

For some it is obviously

Take offense Poole fans if you like, but here's another Ipswich fan with an opinion From the outside looking in, so to speak, Poole have been most successful because they were, notice were, able to bring in successful riders to their teams, trick, loram, ward, holder, all riders who cut their speedway teeth at other clubs before Poole came calling. Just using shanes as an example, they never stick with anyone who they "feel" isn't cutting the mustard. British boys have no future at Poole because they aren't allowed to progress naturally, which is such a shame, because they seem to like Aussies better I could say more but won't
